Phở Super 9 — Restaurant in Raleigh

this spot is a must try! the food is pretty authentic & the spot is so cozy. the waitress was so attentive, helpful & incredibly sweet. their menu has a nice selection & isn’t overwhelming, though they do have a different menu now than the ones on google, the most accurate one is on their website! the food was delicious, though there was a small hiccup! during our meal, the waitress let us know an item was left out of the pho (last photo) & therefore they would take it off the meal as it didn’t taste as good as it usually is. this was very generous of them, as not many restaurants would comp an item & admit a mistake to customers who hadn’t known. i definitely will be returning.

(food descriptions:)

fried dumplings (photo #5): the dumplings were served with a sauce that paired well. the dumplings contained pork, carrot, mushroom & daikon & were super crunchy. 100% recommend trying.

spring roll (photo #5): the spring rolls (there were two but i ate one before remembering a photo) were heavenly. they were fresh & served with peanut sauce. inside the spring roll was shrimp, lettuce, basil & vermicelli. also would recommend trying!

grilled pork & egg roll (#47 on menu) (photo #6): delicious bowl served with rice vermicelli noodles, grilled pork, an egg roll & some veggies. it comes with a sweet, tangy sauce to drench over. the pork is very well seasoned & the egg roll is crunchy!

Overall Rating: 6.8/10 This venue offers a genuine Vietnamese cultural vibe in a spacious and well-appointed interior, although the exterior might not be as appealing. It's a great spot for a relaxed dining experience.

Atmosphere: 6.9/10 The interior of the restaurant captures the essence of Vietnamese culture with its spacious layout and inviting decor, creating a comfortable and laid-back environment that contrasts nicely with the less impressive exterior.

Service: 4.2/10 While the staff were friendly and the menu was easy to navigate, especially for Americans unfamiliar with Vietnamese cuisine, service was notably slow. The delay in food arrival and a missing drink item from the menu were slight drawbacks.

Food: Pho: 7.8/10 This dish stands out as one of Raleigh's better pho offerings, featuring excellent broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and high-quality meat, making it a must-try for enthusiasts of the dish.

I'm not a food expert, let alone a pho expert, but I've had a lot of pho. They make the best damn pho that I've ever had, hands down. I have not had a better pho broth. What makes this even more magical, I've only ordered door dash. Take out food is not supposed to be this good. Its magical. I haven't had a single bad experience with their food. They're so consistent. Its why I always order extra broth. I just drink the broth by its self some times. Its so good.

Also their Fried Rice. I'm Filipino, so rice growing up was 98% of my diet. They're fried rice reminds me of my grandma's. Its so damn good. Its just fried rice! You don't have to go this hard on fried rice! You have no right to be this good.

And then their Vietnamese iced coffee. This is the only place i've found that makes Vietnamese Iced Coffee this good. Other places are too light or put too much of the milk in there. I don't know what they use. If its instant iced coffee, I wouldn't be mad, but please DM what is. Or don't thats fine too.

The only complaint I have is their Banh Mi. I kinda wish it was bigger. But you see, thats the thing. Its still good, I just want more. You guys are friggen...
