So, I have gone there a few times. A week ago, I went in for a fill in. The man there did my previous set as well as the fill in. I showed him a picture of what I wanted a week ago and they came out perfect! I was extremely happy with the set even though I noticed that these nail salons are using such a thin layer of acrylic. Exactly a week after, a nail broke. Ago no big deal. I’ll just go and get it fixed. I went to the nail salon asked for the guy and was told that he would be back in 15-20 minutes. I was willing to wait or come back seeing that I did tip him $20 I’m thinking he wouldn’t have an issue fixing it but a woman said that she would fix it. BEFORE SHE STARTED I TOLD HER THAT I WAS JUST HERE A WEEK AGO. Once she finished she said $5 ok. Now I don’t think it’s fair because I just spent money and it’s not my fault. I’ve never had a nail break in a weeks time. But I said this is why I wanted the guy. She ended up telling me that she does not want to deal with it so if I don’t want to pay then don’t. It’s not that I didn’t want to pay it’s just right Is right. Any other salon I’ve been to , would have been happy to fix it. I proceed to get ready to pay because she did fix something that was not her mistake but…. When I put my card in the machine, I took it out too soon. This is where it goes bad, she proceeds to snatch my card out of my hand. At that point I was done. I was beyond mad. Now i left and sat in my car mad but my BF was on the phone with me and on his way there to meet me. Even after what she did, I still wanted to pay because I’m not someone looking for anything free But she was wrong. Once my BF pulled up he went in and payed the $5. That was the worse experience I’ve had in a nail salon. So 4 stars for the man but overall...

It was my first time visiting kim’s nails, I called beforehand to make sure they were available to do the specific nail shape that I wanted (duck nails) they said they could do it. When I got there, a male worker began to work on my nails. I showed him a picture of the exact shape that I wanted, after a while a female worker I believe her name was Amy , she was the owner of the shop began to work on my nails. After a while, she said she was done with the shape. They were square, and they looked nothing like the photos that I showed her nor were they duck shaped, while I know this was an old school shop, I did my due diligence by calling ahead and showing a picture saying this is the exact shape that I want. I confronted the situation by letting her know, the shape was not to my liking because it looked nothing like the pictures and they were square. She began to get annoyed with me and said “clearly I am not qualified to do your nails, I see what kind of person you are”. I said ma’am, if you did not know how to do duck nails you could’ve just told me and I would’ve never came here. She was super unprofessional and argumentative. She got very loud with me and had a very bad disrespectful attitude. Terrible customer service I will not be back! Not only that the nail shop was very uncleanly and you can tell the tools are never washed or sanitized beware!!

She also said it was not possible to do the shape I wanted unless I were to get press on nails. I informed her that I’ve had the shape before at another nail salon. She said well good luck finding that, I didn’t need luck I simply went to a more skilled Nail tech and all I needed was my debit card. Thank you.

I did not have a good experience here. The man working there serviced me. I got a pedicure and left with my feet in worse shape than they were in when I got there. He did a good job with the polish itself but my feet are torn up from the callous removal. I also had my nails filled in and it felt very rushed. He did a good job on my French tips but when asked to do a flower design with some dots around it he couldn’t do it. I then tried to simplify the flower design by taking away the dots around it. Just the flower think of five dots with a white dot in the middle. He couldn’t do it. He even pulled out stickers to put on my nails (that were completely the wrong color and not what I asked for) and he seemed very annoyed when I told him I didn’t want stickers on my nails. He then made serval attempts to make a flower and seemed annoyed when I didn’t like it ( it looked horrible and was VERY sloppy ) eventually I just said it’s fine to leave it as it is and even offered to do the design on myself. After offering to do the designs myself a very kind lady doing someone else’s acrylic nails offered to help him. She said he doesn’t usually do designs, which I would’ve loved to have known before beginning the service because I definitely would have gone somewhere else or asked for some else to do my nails. The best part of my visit was the lady who offered to help. I’m very grateful for her, however I was waiting a while for while she finished the woman she was working on ( that’s not at all her fault because she was doing someone else’s nails, not mine ) she did her best. I ended up leaving still unhappy with my nails. They charged $25 for the flowers on my nails. I still...
