I'm shocked this place has good reviews. If you go here, you're ripping yourself off. The service is MUCH more expensive than other places. Let me just tell you about my experience though. I came here today to get my car inspected. I had an appointment that I said was a CAR INSPECTION. Well after a 45 minute wait, my car had not even been inspected. They were trying to charge me triple the amount of an inspection FOR AN OIL CHANGE. 1. I did not ask for an oil change. 2. My oil did not need to be changed. After that they FINALLY inspected my car. I stated again that I did not ask for an oil change and asked if I could be refunded. I would not be so enraged right now if it the lady at the front desk hadn't been so rude, but she was extremely rude and kept insisting that we asked for a oil change. I had had one very recently so why would I ask for one? I think I know my own car. It was one thing if they inspected the car AND changed the oil, but the fact that they failed to inspect it blew my mind. I have worked in customer service and I try to be empathetic but today I was just left appalled. Please go to jiffy lube, a local family-owned place, wherever. Just not this place. Also would like to mention that a few years ago this place try to charge me $1300 for a car repair that was $500 at another place. I will be letting everyone I know who's ever gone to this place to avoid it at all costs, and this is my warning to whoever's reading this. Had an amazing experience at north hills tire pros that was recommended by a coworker because they also do auto repairs. I had an emergency repair where one of the belts was failing on my van on Friday evening and went in early on Saturday morning in hopes that they could help me on short notice on a weekend without an appointment They were able to help me and found the most financially reasonable solution and fixed my van in just a few hours. Staff was courteous and knowledgeable and not a ripoff. I was charged a fair price which is not very common these days. Another plus is that this auto repair shop is within walking distance to Starbucks and other shops in North Hills to give you something to do while you are waiting. I highly recommend this place. I was honestly prepared to wait an hour or more, like you would at any other Maintenance shop. After all, I called in right after 5 o'clock when rush-hour was starting to pick up. The girl at the front desk was really nice and definitely made my day better seeing that it was going downhill. The guy that repaired my tire was incredibly fast, easy to talk with, and very knowledgeable. This shop blew away all my expectations and definitely has become a place that I will recommend to any and all in need of tire repair/services. The whole process took around 16 minutes, and this was not during a slow time.. they were busy and had people coming in with appointments already scheduled.
