Level7 Rooftop — Restaurant in Raleigh

Great looking bar, however service is lacking- we arrived for brunch around 1pm today. There were no servers, no one greeted or acknowledged us when we sat at a table so after 15 min we moved to the bar, the bartender was polite but obviously upset and overwhelmed(the place was empty however maybe 8 patrons), we ordered mimosas and food, my glass had smudges and lipstick stains on it, she replaced them. It seems the bartenders do the dishes as well, maybe that’s why they’re dirty. Our food was missing some sides(our steak didn’t come with potatoes as advertised just a slice of toast and wilted lettuce), the bartenders did a shift change and impromptu meeting infront of us, it was one man and two women, they complained about “why they were even open”, I assume because it’s super bowel Sunday, they repeatedly said “let’s close down the outside there’s no one here”, they also complained about the cleanliness of the bar blaming the prior shift. It was very obvious they didn’t want to be at work and they had no problem letting it be known in front of customers. The advertising for brunch on instagram was amazing, the ambiance of the restaurant is nice, it was very very hot inside however. Overall the service needs work in order to match the nice advertisement. Seems the establishment wasn’t prepared for a brunch service. Level7 Rooftop - Stunning Views, Misleading Vibes"

My experience at Level7 Rooftop left me with mixed feelings. Situated atop a hotel, the stunning views initially promised an exciting night out to celebrate my birthday. However, the reality didn't quite live up to the expectations set by their website.

The ambiance was more suited for an older crowd, resembling a 55+ club rather than the lively atmosphere I anticipated based on their online presence. The music felt bland, further emphasizing the mature vibe.

As a bar, the food was average, leaning towards typical bar fare. The drinks, however, were well-made and enjoyable. Despite the mediocre offerings, the service was attentive, and our orders arrived promptly.

The main redeeming factor was the breathtaking scenery. If you're looking for a place to appreciate the view while sipping on a well-crafted drink, Level7 Rooftop might be worth a visit. However, if you're seeking a lively atmosphere, this might not be the ideal destination.

In conclusion, my experience at Level7 Rooftop was salvaged by the gorgeous views, but the overall ambiance and energy didn't align with my expectations or what their website portrayed. Their marketing team deserves credit for their presentation, but the reality left me somewhat...

This is an awesome venue in a luxurious setting and should have received more than 2 stars but unfortunately they failed miserably in two very important areas. Service and drinks !! The service was awful to say the least. Our waitress performed miserably and mainly due to lack of training and not attitude. She just didn’t know how to serve period. The martini I ordered was a cool aid served in a water glass. I am not exadurating !! When I told the waiter about it, she actually got me some soda water to mix it with it for some reason !!! When she brought the bill, she noticed that I didn’t drink any of yet yet didn’t acknowledge it at all.

I really hope this was a one time thing as we like this place and would love to go there more. Management ... please train your people that when a customer shows dissatisfaction with a food or a drink . It’s normal a customary to offer something else to make it up and not just ignore it and get on with their work. I am sure your busy enough not to really care but it will eventually catch up with you as new places...
