YOU GUYS I DID IT! As many of you requested I went to Raleigh’s newly famous liquidation store to get those $10 deals we’ve all heard about. Let’s dive into it because there is a lot to unpack here...
First off let’s say this is the most fun your ever gonna have going shopping. I mean what’s not to love when your digging through piles of merchandise that could be yours for only 10 bucks. Anything on the floor in bins! But more on that later.
My journey started at 10pm the day before they opened. Yes that’s right, we camped out on the store front all the way until 10am the next day!!! Definitely necessary if you want to avoid the line & to get first dibs on some great merchandise. Do be aware some every day customers are there as early as 7pm awaiting the next morning. As of now they are still working on a ticketing system & have tried other approaches but they are a new spot so trial & error is to be expected but I have high faith they will figure it all out. So for now lining up is working best. We brought chairs and blankets for our long night ahead but some literally slept on the ground! Your probably wondering is it really that serious? Well I got a brand new iPad for $10 & instapot, so you tell me?!?
Everyone in line was cordial & seem to know the routine. Far as line cutting, I did see with some families that they were holding spots but we camped overnight so I didn’t find that, such a big deal. The staff was absolutely amazing. The energy & helpfulness they provided was incredible. I had the pleasure of personally meeting the owner & his wife George & Donna, also manager Izzy & pallet manager James. Kind, down to earth people that really want to provide a great experience for their shoppers. This place is organized even if it seems like it would be a chaotic mess. I saw everyone working hands on with one another including the owners. They let me know they are constantly thinking of new ways to better the shoppers experience & also making things run as smooth as possible.
In the end I walked out with so many top dollar items. I’m still in disbelief! Regardless you will not leave empty handed because there’s enough merchandise to go around & you can’t really lose purchasing these things for only $10. I really loved & enjoyed my time shopping at Treasure Hunt & I’d do it all over again, no doubt about it! If you were waiting on a sign to check this place out, this is it HAPPY HUNTING! Let them know Elle sent you.
THANK YOU TO MY 12,500,000 supporters that look to me for guidance in your area. I do this for guys & I hope I am providing the best feedback to help your experience amazing.

Read moreThis place was a hit or miss when a friend and I went for the first time on a Tuesday I can certainly say the store rules do not matter. The rule says carts unattended get returned to the bins well they do not as there were people with multiple carts full of things they stashed over in the corner to save for later in the front. Every time I asked one of the staff a question all I got was "I don't know" and they would just walk away from me. I am also really glad that even if you get there prior to the store opening and wait in line like everyone else, the staff, which are pretty much a bunch of kids and one adult, just let anyone cut in line when they decide to show up two minutes before the doors open. You can find a lot of brand new things as well as used if you don't mind reusing items but there needs to be a better job of what is put out used as there was a table full of clothes that absolutely SMELLED so bad like something died and rotted. There are not a lot of carts so definitely bring your own something to put your things in so you are not the lady that was screaming across the store at someone else looking around the things they were apparently planning om buying. At one point they did bring out a pallet full of stuff to restock but decide to throw it all onto one table where everyone ran and crowded so yeah good luck trying to get to any of it before it is literally thrown, torn or broken. All in all it gives a black Friday vibe for sure and I might go once in a while but I am not willing to deal with all that on a...
Read moreThe staff here are so kind. Today I scored two Cook’s $10 Dutch Ovens! Original MSRP is $54.99. Thanks to manager Izzy. This will be about the longest treasure hunt of your life. But it’s worth the hunt ! I discovered this liquidation store while on Instagram. Raleigh Food Trap promoted them and while off today on a Friday I headed over at 7:30 a.m. The line was wrapped around the street with many people wrapped in blankets and sitting in foldable chairs. I stood and sat in my foldable camping chair from 8:15 am- 12:00pm. We finally were let in by the kind staff and they restocked all the bins. I scored a Power XL Air Fryer, a Italian turbo blow dryer and a Stainless Steel Copper Cuisinart Coffee Maker/ Kuerig Machine. HomeBarista Reusable Filter Cup which lets you use your own coffee !!!!! Retail value is over $300 for $30.
Please note: these items are not all brand new or in perfect condition by any means. Some items are new and some have defects from store returns. My air fryer is missing one of the baking pans that is included. There are notes detailing the defect. That’s why they’re $10 or less.
I was in and out within less than 10 minutes with my items. Bring a wagon/ cart to carry your items and bring lots of patience. I really liked the manager’s new process of having everyone select 1 item from the bin first and then shop the...
