My Mom passed away and the funeral home is in another State. She wanted to be cremated and the funeral home didn't have a very nice selection of urns to choose from. So, I bought one outside the funeral home. Then when I inquired about engraving it; I was told that I would have to look for someone that will do it because they wouldn't do it since I made an outside purchase. I looked on the internet and found Engrave 'N Embroider Things. I gave them a call and asked if they could engrave an urn and Engrave N Embroider Things said that they can do it. I went down and talked to Danny. The item that I had was from the fifties, made of solid copper. He said that he would have to have a look at it because of the weight of it. After five minutes he returned to say that he would have to make a jig for it, but, that he will do it. He said it would be ready in four days. I went down on the fourth day to pick it up. The first thing I noticed was that the name wasn't centered, The name sloped downward then back up. Finally, the engraving was done on a downward slant. Unfortunately, an error on a one of a kind item and where time is of the essence forced me to accept the item As Is. I was disappointed and I brought the three errors to the mangers attention. Initially, the price to do this work was $243.00. The manager took off the $43.00 (which was the tax) and I paid $200 for it. So here I am. They did me a favor by engraving an urn. But it wasn't done correctly. If I could have given them 2.5 stars then that is what I would have given them. But as it stands, they did me a favor and were very helpful and understanding. I just wish that it came out perfect then I would be singing high praises. As it stands, all I can do is just suck it up. Would I go back to them? Yes, I would. I would just make sure that the item(s) I take to them could and can be replaced before I let them try and engrave it. As it stands, I feel $200. for a bad engraving job is still too much to pay for; but, I'm under the gun to get this item to where I can complete my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDanny sold me a dirty heat press he knew wasn't any good. I take it home, clean it up, and it's not working properly. Won't heat up to the temperature indicated. I went through 5 patches that had to be trashed. I asked asked for my money back because I still need to finish my order and don't have a press. He said I completed the order and was now trying to get my money back. Basically, that I was trying to get over on him. No, on the contrary, now I'm out of time and money. Then, when I called the store to explain, the lady that answered said I was yelling and hung up in my face š No, ma'am, I'm not yelling; however, I am upset that I was basically called a thief, now have to find a working press, and lost the day I had to work on them. That's what you are hearing, not yelling. I believe the way this was handled was very unprofessional. I also do truly believe he assumed I was trying to "get over" on him because I have a little more melanin š¤·š¾āāļø
Response to reply: I'll help you out with that. The staff at your business are rude, unprofessional, and from the moment I walked in customer service was lacking. Seems to be a common thread from other reviews....

Very frustrating when there is a bucket load of staff in the Backroom yucking it up! The one time I used them ... they were late on the order, provided poor work and unapologetic. Thought Iād give them one more chance this week. I Needed several items/a fairly large order...and they are close to our business. The girl and guy at the counter were less than helpful and clearly did not want to make a sale. I left and contacted 4Imprint, an online store....I would rather do business local but not with a shop that could care less if I was interested in buying from them. How does this place stay in business??!!! Suggestion: have some major staff training on sales and customer service. I will not waste my time...
