October 25, 2024 Zimomo Angel in the Clouds Drop
I was so disappointed by how management handled the line cutters. We identified 4 people who cut in line. They claim they were there at 2 am and left their chair to save their spot and went to their car to sleep.
When security arrived, telling us to move from the original place where we usually line up, to the side of the store, those chairs were left there and security even told us if no one claims them, they will be thrown away. So some of us just claimed those chairs to use since they will just be thrown out. The second time security had us move the line, 2 of these people went back and just cut the line and later on claimed his chairs rudely.
The first popmart staff to help us was more reasonable and listened to everyoneās complain about the line cutters. When the manager came, she informed us that those guys were there since 2am. She then threatened that if we do not agree with this they will have to cancel the drop. When we brought up this issue again when we were inside the store, she said she got the consensus of everyone which is not true because I never gave mine.
I spoke with the guy behind me, he was number 27. He was there since 3am and gave his spot to her aunt and lined up again behind me. He said he never saw those guys claiming they were in line.
There is a lot of room of improvement in policies specially with this kind of drop that has limited quantities. Every person counts. Those of us who stayed in line, never went to sleep in our cars (probably left for just for 5-10 mins for pee break) or asked someone to save a spot for us. It is completely unfair.
We felt we were not heard. We felt they just wanted to disperse us quickly. We felt we were treated poorly even threatened.
5 hours I waited and went home with nothing but pure...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe visited this Pop Mart location at Victoria Gardens on a Friday evening and arrived at 8:53 PM, just 7 minutes before their posted closing time of 9:00 PM. To our surprise, two staff members were already standing outside the entrance, blocking anyone from entering. When we asked if we could quickly go in, we were told the store was closed, despite it still being within business hours.
This was quite disappointing, especially considering that most retail stores in the U.S. allow customers to enter right up until the official closing time. Other stores in the same shopping center remained open and continued letting customers in until 9:00 PM as expected. Itās unclear why Pop Mart operates differently, but it gave off the impression that they hold themselves to a different (and less customer-friendly) standard.
As regular customers who have spent a considerable amount of money on blind boxes from this brand, we were frustrated by the lack of flexibility and the dismissive attitude from the staff. It would have taken us just a few minutes to browse or make a quick purchase, and yet we were denied entry without any reasonable explanation.
Pop Mart is a brand that depends heavily on customer loyalty and return buyers. Experiences like this make it difficult to continue supporting them. I hope management can review their closing policies and train staff to be more accommodating, especially when customers arrive within official...

I visited the Pop Mart location at Victoria Gardens with my fiancĆ©e and our baby, excited to explore the store as newcomers to the brand. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with visible annoyance and attitude simply for asking questions. I understand that they likely get asked the same things often ā but thatās part of working in retail, especially for such a popular brand.
The staff made us feel unwelcome and even uncomfortable. Instead of being friendly or helpful, they acted like we were bothering them. It felt like we were being judged or dismissed for not already knowing everything about the products or the process. There was an air of entitlement, as if the employees were too cool to provide basic customer service. Honestly, it felt like we were being looked down on.
To make things worse, we noticed clear favoritism toward certain other customers, who seemed to be friends or maybe even off-duty employees. They were greeted with smiles and excitement, while we were barely acknowledged. It was disheartening.
Pop Mart is known for its creativity and community, but this visit left a sour taste in our mouths. We expected fun and curiosity ā not condescension. I hope the management takes customer service more seriously, because no one should be made to feel like they...
