Let's start with the parking , it's not convenient, it's meter parking or you will have to park in the further parking lots in Victoria garden and walk up, second I walked in the host wasn't very friendly in my opinion it was a lady with half blk and blonde hair . We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table, the decor is different but it very nice trendy and instagram worthy, people dress casual here so i seemed kinda over dressed. Our waiter was nice , however we had a couple dirty cups, when we asked for wine . We told him he brang back another cup that was semi clean . The food I would say is worth it and it's very high end looking and affordable. I got the grill cheese & artichoke sandwich and onion ring . Really good ! We also ordered burchetta very good , and the bread pudding was phenomenal 👌 . I personally wouldn't go back to dine in , I didn't like the vibe of this restaurant, it's dark , dark walls , they played blues and sometimes didn't play music at all but I guess that's the point of a modern whiskey bar and restaurant . The energy wasn't there for me , the workers through out the place are a hit and miss . It's just not a fun exciting place for me personally so I would possibly order take out to enjoy my food else where . They do have a bar. One thing I didn't like is the fact they don't have menus you have to use your phone and my phone didn't have a connection in there. There was outside patio seating but it was triple degree weather . . . Part 2 I actually went back in dined in the food was still really good, service was a lot better, and workers were attentive , we sat on the patio a bit before we went inside I felt like the vibe was better . Great food as always we tried the fried oysters they were really good 10/10 bread pudding always smacks 😋 10/10

We love the state and have been here a few times and love their poutine. We have always had good food, good drinks and great service. We love the outdoor patio with the fire place/pit. That is usually where we sit when we come. On this visit, we finally got to check out their speakeasy. Veuve Noire is a hidden gem! We love speakeasy bars and we came here with another couple that shares that same love. No phones or cameras are allowed, so make sure you put them away. I really liked that rule, as it really makes you talk and enjoy those you are with, the surroundings, food and drinks. Other groups were talking and enjoying each other’s time as well, so it really is a way to get away from it all. Call and make a reservation, if you just walk up and ask, you may not get seated. How busy they are may depend on the day and time of day. We stopped in on a Friday night and had a reservation. Because some were a no show, we were seated early. There is usually a 2 hour time limit, but they will allow you to stay a little longer if no one is coming in (this is common with places like this as to meet the reservations throughout the night). The drinks we had were amazing and on par. They do have their own food menu, however we were able to order some of the appetizers from the restaurants main menu. Our overall experience was great and we will be back again! We hope to visit the location in Redlands soon!

So it was our first time. ALEX was our waiter and very attentive. But what made the night and our first time visiting just amazing as the Manager Shane and the very knowledgeable Mr. JASON not sure his role or title but he knew his whiskey. We are knew Whiskey drinkers and that were both very patient and helpful and amazingly into us. We got an amazing Whiskey flight very appropriate for our pallette. Made us really feel like we were the only ones in the room..YOU ROCK! The music selection was on point and fit the vibe. Nice crowd...you don't have to deal with a lot of teenagers as the restaurant is on the edge of Victoria Gardens which was a plus for us. The vibe is very cool and when the front of the house opens up it just takes the restaurant experience to the next level. It is completely open which is great for a summer night. I gave it a five star just because it was such a fun night but honestly the menu can be expanded a little. The menu deserves maybe 4. I'm not a chef but will say I will 100% go back but I am not breaking the door down for the food. We were told to expect some expansions on the menu....looking forward to that. Apparently another location in Redlands but it was expressed this is the hotter spot. This is definitely a hip hang out spot....

I emailed the owner 19days ago(May10th) as requested and never received a reply.

The bar is amazing The drinks are amazing The bartenders are amazing. Tamika / Shamika the manager at the hostess stand was less than average with her customer service on mother's Day. After waiting two hours patiently to be seated I asked a hostess at the stand how much longer or how many people were ahead of us to be seated just to know. She stated that there is at least six parties ahead of us totally fine. While we are waiting we realized at least six to eight parties of all sizes had been seated within a period of time after asking at least 45 minutes go by hitting our two hour mark wait time My mother then goes to the hostess stand and ask the manager Tamika / Shamika how many more parties were ahead of us since we had already been waiting two hours and hadn't heard anything She then told my mom that we'd have to wait for a longer table to be available in which we'd have to wait for people to leave that would take at least another hour that made us frustrated because we had already waited 2 hours and she offered up no other options I then asked could we sit at the longest most available open table at the entrance She says yes... that table had been available most of the time we have been waiting and no one offered it to us She said you could either sit at this table or you'd have to wait another hour we sat finally after being frustrated with her She was not pleasant She offered us no options She was very dry with her responses to me and I just didn't understand why because we have been patiently waiting with no complaints we sat down we never heard from her again after that our experience was downhill our food was not as great as we hoped and there was a few mix-ups and although they were small after our interaction with Tamika and waiting to be seated they seemed bigger than they were I believe had we had a better interaction with her our time spent at the restaurant would have been decent instead it was quite terrible another manager came over and immediately was apologetic and tried to rectify the situation I don't remember her name but she was great Although the damage had already been done the GM Richard was also great and offered us dessert to go I wish our time here would have been better because I really planned a great brunch for my mother and aunts instead it was mother's Day 2021...
