This has been the worse experience at a Williams-Sonoma store. The associates were rude and dismissive. Had an online order for pick up, went to the this store and was unsure of the pick up process. I asked an associate if there was a pick up line and she she asked if I was picking up an online order, I said yes and she said ok and walked away proceeding to help the line. I waited a while thinking maybe I was in the right place but was ignored. So I went to another associate and she told Me I needed to wait in the regular line, ok that’s fine. I waited in line and when I was helped (by the first associate that I spoke with) she got my order number and walked away. When she came back she ignored me and helped the next customer in line. I just stood there for 10 minutes before another associate asked if I was being help. I told her I was but the lady moved on. That associate helped me get the items out the store, she said the online order never went through. She did say she’ll cancel the online order so that I don’t get charged both times. However, I did and when I called the following day because my online order was now saying ready, Mary took my information and put me on hold. 23 minutes later, I called on another phone while still waiting on hold And Pam answered stating she just got there, dismissing the frustration of being left on hold saying’ “Well it is the holidays.” That is not an excuse to have such terrible customer service back to back. Pam got the online order cancelled all within a 4...
Read moreI don't recommend this particular store. I tried to make a return for a holiday gift and feel like I was minimally helped, if not lied to, by manager, Stacy. I brought in a gift receipt given with a gift, which turned out not to be associated with the gift itself. I told Stacy I was sure the gift was purchased that day in store. She looked in her system and said it was not. After speaking to the gift giver, I learned it was ordered IN STORE by an associate and mailed to the house. Having left the store, I called Stacy to tell her it was order in store by an associate. She said she DOES have that receipt in house but would have had to check a different system. She kept calling it an online order even though it was placed IN HER STORE. I felt very frustrated because she kept blaming me for not knowing this is how it was purchased when every consumer would consider any instance where you give a cashier your credit card as an in store purchase. I believe Stacy should have known (and did know) that she should check this other system but chose not to. If I must shop at Williams Sonoma in the future, I will do it online or at...
Read moreBought a Breville espresso machine for 870$, the rep and the cashier mentioned that we return the machine within 30 days. Came 4 days after purchase and mentioned that the espresso wasn’t pulling coffee as described. And the machine is probably defected. Store manager, the rudest most unprofessional person I’ve ever seen in my 32 years said that she cannot return due to policy. So return is on NEW items only, and if you used it then that’s waived. Instead of her talking common sense she said that I lied and their reps would never say that we can return. She started threatening that if I don’t take the store credit not a refund then she will not accept this again and I’ll have to sell it on eBay. I asked her to pull the cameras and see exactly what I was told, she said that they don’t have cameras. If William Sanoma has a single shot of making this better, I would at least request that you fire this crazy person and refund me because this...
