I’m definitely not a fan of bars. I can’t drink and people’s interactions feel awkward to me. It just never feels very unique or interesting. The bar just isn’t my thing. I don’t like walking by them or waiting near one. At night, when the kitchen is open I guess people are more flirty with each other. Literally spent my time avoiding a lady who was trying to sink her teeth in to a guy who was deeply engrossed in the conversation. Definitely felt like she viewed me, a married woman, as competition. What type of competition? I don’t know. Pleasant conversation that was fun until that little debacle. I’m not interested in what ever the bar scene entails. People who go there are going to escape.
I wish there was a different area you could pick your food up at but the staff was so kind and cheery. If it were me, at the end of the shift, no way in hell would I still be smiling. I’d be way too tired. They’re up until 11pm on a Sunday.
Very long introduction for a pickup order. I hope the dog that was visiting completes his training. Heaven knows a vet will appreciate his spirit. My order: 2 veggie burgers 1 double cheeseburger 2 cheese fries 2 chocolate chip cookies About $70.
Definitely delicious. My husband liked his food. An unfortunate toothache that prevented him from finishing it. Oh well that’s what lunch is for right? lol.
I’m very grateful to the male staff member for ushering me out of that uncomfortable situation with the brown haired tart of a lady. I really think that dog was better trained than the handler gave him credit for.
If you want to get flirty with someone, that’s perfectly fine. Just leave other females out of your fantasy. Like literally. Don’t assume you’re winning a prize for tonight if you get attention in a conversation. That dog could definitely tell I was triggered. People who are retired from serving practice coping techniques to adapt to stupid behaviours. I don’t HAVE to respond to your overly dramatic social cues in a conversation.
The bartenders have more social understanding.
Yes, I ranted. But thank you. Literally. The things I imagine were probably definitely attracting that service dog in training. Some people have the weirdest intimate interests. And they are definitely...
Read moreThe food was tasty, I have to give them 4 stars for taste. Where they fell on their face was that the buns were cool not hot. They should have either been toasted or steamed then served hot. The final issue that I have with this restaurant is that the portions are small for the amount of money that they charge. This makes them a poor value proposition.
Response to owners reply:
Dog, You chose to reply to my review explaining to me the high quality ingredients that your restaurant chooses to purchase and serve. I appreciate that fact, and I understand that the style of food, quality of food, offering of alcoholic beverages, atmosphere of the restaurant, sets you apart from restaurants in general. However, where your restaurant failed miserably was service. Specifically your restaurant served HOT FOOD LUKEWARM AT A PREMIUM PRICE. I can go right down the street and order a double dip pastrami sandwich with an order of chili cheese fries for about the same price as what I spent at your restaurant. Yes it is a chain of restaurants which I have eaten at for 48 years. The huge difference between you and them is that in the 48 years that I have eaten at their various establishments, I have always been served HOT FOOD HOT. Yes they also charge a premium price for their food.
Your personal failure as a leader is your response to my review, choosing to not address the service. All the things that you mentioned in your response that makes you different from everybody else, is NEGATED BY SERVING HOT FOOD LUKEWARM. The fact that you did not even address that issue which ultimately is more important than everything else that you discussed is a huge failure on your part. This egregious failure on your part is the reason why I have revised my review to two stars. When you are responding to poor reviews you need to address all the concerns of the reviewer. Not just the ones that are easily defensible. You also need to address the concerns that are...
Read moreI went to the Dog Haus at the Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga yesterday and this place was really nice. I actually had no idea this place was even there. What caught my eye at first, though, was the bar which was opened on the inside and outside. For some reason, it reminded me of a bar at a resort or in Vegas. But either way, the food was really good. It was playful. It was inventive. It was creative. But most of all, their food was photogenic (though I wish I took better pictures). The main thing, though, was the food here made you think about all the flavors entering your mouth. I had the Old Town hot dog which was a bacon wrapped hormone-free hot dog topped with a chipotle aiole, pickled jalapenos, and cotija cheese resting on hawaiian bread rolls. The result was a meaty, savory meal full of eyeopening complimentary flavors. This place, like i said before, has a bar on the inside which opens to the outside patio as well. They don't serve cocktails there, but they do offer a bunch of craft beers that pair well with their meals. As for the restaurant itself, it was clean and modern. Every inch of wall space had a flat screen playing the game of the day. I dont recall if they were playing music (as white noise), but conversations were easy and not strained. Do yourself a favor and check...
