I am having difficulty understanding why all the reviews are 5 star. The only way that happens with any business if the others are being removed. No business, no matter how good they are, gets all 5 star reviews. If I hadn’t already been to this facility before reading reviews I definitely would not be signing up. I want to clarify…. for the most part the instructors are great. There is only one I absolutely will not go to because in the two times I have been to her class instruction has been very vague and I have left in pretty severe discomfort. I am a nurse and know my body’s limitations and do my best to adjust and still have been hurt. From November through April it is almost impossible to get classes When you sign up you are anywhere from 4th to 7th on the waitlist. True, sometimes you clear but often you do not so you spend the time trying to adjust your schedule “just in case” and more often than not you don’t clear and end up cancelling the rest of “life” to wait around. You have to pay up front and there is a very good chance you will never collect the service you have paid for. After the month is over your credits are gone and you have lost that money. How is this even legal? You have no other option other than driving all the way into Palm Springs to the one other studio that this owner has however they are just as busy. The credits that you have paid should carry over month to month and if not there should be a limit on memberships sold because right now more memberships are being sold than they have space for. I want to clarify…..if I could use the points that I have paid for I would give this studio 10 stars. Almost all the instructors are VERY knowledgeable, kind and helpful…the one that simply doesn’t seem to know a lot can be avoided. It is a friendly, clean and a great environment from the time you walk in the door. Always a friendly greeting followed by instructors who take the time to ask each individual if they have any particular issues. During the class they are hands on and watching to make sure students are getting the most out of the class. The business plan needs to change. Expand the studio so more can be accommodated or limit memberships. The only negative for the owners is that they will not be receiving the monies that many have paid and never been able to collect the services. Charging for a product that you cannot provide cannot be legal 🤷♀️ Overall you have a great product……figure out how to make it work in a way that is fair to all.
Follow up…..I am not sure what is wrong with your computer system. I have never cancelled a booking. I have cancelled from the wait list within less than 24 hours so I could plan my day. When I see in the morning that I am still on a waitlist for that day I find it reasonable to take my name off of the list. That is not a booking cancellation. I would gladly sign up for 5 sessions a week if I could get in. I agree with your assessment that you should rethink working with the insurance companies. I signed up that way because I was advised to at the studio. I had no idea that it was even an option. I was originally paying for 8 classes a month for my first three months and then had the 4 through my insurance company. I found that I could not get into that many classes so I changed my plan. Please don’t make me out to be the bad guy by stating facts that are not true. I am trying to give constructive criticism. I have said that I thoroughly enjoy the classes and the studio. To state that it is difficult to get into classes is...
Read moreI signed up for an 8-class per month membership around April because I was looking for something to supplement my HIIT workouts. I never did any kind of Pilates so I was a bit nervous when I showed up for my intro class (which is free but don’t just show up-book in advance since they have specific intro classes for newbies). Rose was great and because of the experience, I signed up on the spot. All the instructors are wonderful, as are the ladies at the front desk. The studio is clean and welcoming. There are a variety of classes throughout the day, even on the weekends.
I am so happy I signed up when I did because it has definitely helped my overall conditioning. I gained a bit more definition in my legs and arms and definitely feel my core getting stronger. The instructors here helped me finally perfect my plank! Best of all, I feel like I have better form and endurance during my...
Read moreThe staff and instructors at Club Pilates are excellent. You are greeted by name upon entering and signed in by friendly staff. The instructors are well trained , helpful and offer a variety of routines. Nothing cookie cutter here. I have been attending for three years as I come to the desert November- June. With good planning I can always get into the class I want, even if I get on a wait list for my favorite class. When not in the desert I attend another Club Pilates in my home town and the transition is seamless. Equipment is the same and although the instructors differ the basic exercises are the same and of course the instructors offer their own routines as the class require. Highly recommend Club Pilates for fun, fitness,...
