Brandini Toffee — Restaurant in Rancho Mirage

Brandini might have been the first bookmark when I started planning a trip to Palm Springs! It did not disappoint!

The Toffee ice cream bar, ice cream cup, and the shake were on our list. On this first visit we tried the ice cream bar and shake. Both were all we expected them to be. They were both custom made by Shari and we watched her make both items. The toffee crumbles are plentiful! Its a perfect desert treat, though I would eat these whether its hot or cold outside!

This location is their corporate store so they make a lot of their items here. There is a huge kitchen in the back with glass windows so you can watch the production. Lots of toffee gift items to purchase as souvenirs or to bring home to family and friends. You can buy their popcorn items, the toffee crumbles, and ofc the toffee. There are tables to eat your treats and a cute little lounge area in the corner as well.

Big thanks to Ms Shari for her very warm hospitality! From the moment we walked in, she welcomed us as well as the other customers who walked in right behind us. She made us feel right at home, and as a matter of fact, we felt like we were in her home bc she was so congenial.

We will definitely be returning here before...

Having read about Brandini & loving toffee, we drove across town to get some. Only employee finished with a customer and began helping the only other person in the store. The woman ordered ice cream & was told it was 50% off because she'd been waiting patiently. After taking 5 minutes to make it and stand chatting with the woman, she finally got to me. I asked for the same item. Before she could start it, a woman breezed in & grabbed a $20 packaged item off the counter. She was rung up, her email entered, stood gabbing for another 5 minutes and the cashier grabbed her a free plastic sack of toffee. Another person came in and did the same. When the cashier finally got around to making my ice cream she offered me no discount after letting two people cut in front of me, did not offer me a sample even after I had inquired about small bags for sale. I didn't go in expecting freebies or discounts, but after she gave them to every other customer right in front of me it felt...

On Saturday, Dec. 10, I placed an $!68 order in person at the factory store in Rancho Mirage for delivery to NYC. I specifically picked merchanIse that was pre-packaged. I was told that it would arrive in 3-4 days by the person who took the order. Today, Dec 19, I found out that the order had not arrive. Because I was out of town, I called the factory to check the status of my order. My order had not been shipped--9 DAYS LATER. The woman with whom I spoke said, "That's the way it is. If you don't like our candy, lots of other people do". She did not offer an resolution or money back. She did not offer an apology or indicate any concern for my situation.
