This place passed all my tests for quality and flavor. Plus the service was great! Here is the breakdown. I ordered their brown sugar milk tea (not normal for me) half sweet. The girl who took my order mentioned repeatedly, "please let me know If it's too sweet, not sweet enough, anything! We want you to LOVE your drink". I was so happy to hear this. So far, we're off to a good start here. But a solid reviewer will know, while service and thoughtfulness are high priorities for a good experience, the product is what we want to know about. I like to review boba teas in layers, starting with the base, THE TEA. The tea was clearly fresh. I wouldn't say it had robust flavor but it definitely wasn't bland. I'd rate it high, as in 7 out of 10. For reference I've only ever given one 10, but the best of the best get 8s and 9s. This was in fact a solid 7. I'd say, a tad bit longer on the brew could unlock more flavor in the tea. The milk used I couldn't tell what it was... which isn't a bad thing at all. It was as expected. I believe next time I'll specifically order it with whole milk. This trip however, I want to see if they care or just capitalize... house drink, as is, everyone knows the rules haha. So anywho, onto the most important part. THE BOBA: This place gets it better than anyone else in the desert so far! You can tell the base boba is of quality. Not the most premium but definitely high and almost more importantly, prepared very well. Not over cooked like most others out here in the desert. I'd rate their honey boba at a fairly high sweetness rating which is great when you order drinks without sweetness, like myself. Do I wish it were slightly less sweet, yes, but it's not overly sweet like TBH. TBH boba is disgustingly sweet so this place offers up a proper alternative. On my next visit, I'll give my personal signature drink a go (Endless' honey jasmine Green Tea with whole milk) as well as their Thai Tea (which looks very proper) and also the waffle. I'm looking forward to return visits. Product gets a 7 out of 10 which easily places it firmly as the best boba tea shop in the Coachella Valley. Service is a 10 out of 10. Cleanliness is 10 out of 10 (they're so new, hopefully they stay on top of it) OVERALL rating 7.5 out of 10 ! Best boba in the desert.
Wishes: a larger drink size for the teas would be great. Typically when I want a green tea I like the 30oz options you can find at out of valley tea shops. I'd also like to see a pudding option and also a creme brulee that we are all starting to see pop up in the hottest tea shops. A creme brulee drink will turn this into a weekend must visit for desert...
Read morewas in town for tennis tournament Saturday and craving boba as was staying in Rancho Mirage this was nearby. the reviews of this place are weird you have some five stars and the last few reviewers complained about taste. I went in and asked the staff for recommendation and they recommended Thai tea or some of their flavored milk teas. I opted to just try for a regular milk tea. What I can say is the one star reviews are spot on. I got a small cup filled with ice and a watered down milk tea. not sure if that was due to so much ice or they dont know how to make milk tea . The prices are high for what you get here, I ended up driving down the road to another Boba store in Palm Desert. Avoid this place the one star reviews...
Read moregot a chance to try this place, and in all honesty i’m a bit underwhelmed. i got a lavender milk tea with 50% sweetness and brown sugar boba. the flavor of the tea is pretty basic, and the boba quality was mediocre in comparison to other places i’ve tried. i also didn’t get a whole lot of a lavender taste. i think the price is a bit expensive for what you’re getting. my main complaint is my drink was 2/3 full of ice. overall, not a terrible boba spot if you’re looking for a basic drink, but it is pricey. looking forward to a passive aggressive response from...
