Duluth Trading Company — Local services in Red Wing

I really love the men's pants at Duluth Trading company, especially. They are very comfortable, but also wear really well. They are almost ludicrously expensive though. One of the things I like about going to Red Wing to go to Duluth Trading company is the whole downstairs is the outlet center. Some of the items are damaged or seconds and are not going to be returnable, but some of them are returnable later if needed with the receipt. A weird thing about this trip that I noticed is that some of the outlet stuff in the basement had clearly been worn - even for construction work - and was simply dirty. It was very weird to pick up a pair of pants considering buying them, and find they literally had construction dust and stains on the front. You could tell that they had put knee pads in the pants and everything, and worn them on a job site, for at least half a day. So then they return them? And then Duluth Trading company literally just put them out, marked down, without trying to clean them up at all? That seems very strange. This seemed to be true of almost half the pants in the outlet section that were around my size. I had never had that...

I'm extremely disappointed with the lack of focus on customer service. I've used the leather computer bag for several years - i don't abuse it and it looks like new. I love it! Yesterday the clip on one end of the strap broke. I emailed Duluth Trading Company asking if I could learn how to get a strap replacement or how to have it repaired. I did get a quick response, but a response with a lack of care for the customer. I was told "we do not make repairs...Another option would be fabric and craft stores. If you have a Hobby Lobby, Michael's, or Jo-Ann Fabrics..." Seriously??!! This bag cost several hundred dollars and I'm supposed to find a cheap pick up strap or clip at a craft store???!!! Obviously you care about the original sale and not any follow up on service. I will share my story and my continued...

Of course you'd expect good quality products to be expensive, but I was actually surprised to see these are reasonably priced. The quality is amazing!! I bet a coat or shoes would last years. When we walked in we were greeted right away too! The employees are soooo nice. They had a hat that felt so comfortable. When I found out there was an outlet store in basement, I got really excited.
