Went to Liberty's tonight for dinner. We were seated quickly, as there were very few other diners in the restaurant (Sunday night and all). Unfortunately I have to say that we were beyond disappointed in almost every aspect of the restaurant. While the atmosphere is warm and inviting, the food and the service leave much to be desired. We ordered several appetizers for the table. The egg rolls were decent, on par with something you can get at almost any Chinese buffet or gas station hot roller. The mozzarella sticks were cold, the cheese inside already solidified at the first bite. The one bright spot to the whole meal was the garlic cheese bread... hot, crispy on the outside, but soft and buttery on the inside. We each received one drink, and were not asked if we needed another for the rest of our time there despite our glasses sitting empty for most of the meal. The sausage on the breakfast sandwich was nice and hot, however the egg was cold and the cheese not even melted. The pancakes were also cold. I ordered the steak and stuffed shrimp with cheddar broccoli soup and the cheesy au gratin potatoes. My steak was fortunately very well cooked, but utterly lacked in flavor (not even salt and pepper). The cheddar broccoli soup was thick, almost concealed, and grainy. The stuffed shrimp was advertised as fried shrimp stuffed with crab and mozzarella, but unfortunately what I was served can only be described as vaguely fishy tasting slime. This is unfortunately our first and probably last time dining at Liberty's. Very...

To preface everything, me and my mother don’t have a lot of money. We decided that for my birthday we were going to order pizza from my favorite pizza place libertys and bring it home and watch the Olympics. We order a deluxe pizza with no onions and peppers as well as some egg rolls. They told us that the wait time was around 25-30 minutes. Around 20 minutes after our order I left to pick everything up. When I arrive there I pay for my order, tip $5 and sit down to wait. Around 20 minutes later my mom called to ask where I was and I told her I was still waiting. 10 minutes later I got my order and left. When I got home we ate the egg rolls as an appetizer. After that I opened the pizza box and there were onions and peppers. I questioned myself so I looked at the receipt stapled on the the egg roll box and specifically stated that it said no onions and peppers. I then noticed it said PRIORITY ORDER in bright red lettering which now explains my longer than normal wait time because they didn’t put in my order when I originally ordered it. We then drove the pizza back to get our money back. When we gave them everything they only gave us our money back for the pizza pre taxed so overall I ended up loosing money on...

Had a pizza lunch here one afternoon with a few out of town visitors and they were so pleased, they requested we go back the next day for the lunch buffet and we weren't disappointed...Libertys lunch buffet is small but packs a punch...Pizza(replenished often), delicious soup, salad bar, and best of all (IMO)was the build your own sandwich bar, with all the fixings and various choices of breads, rolls, croissants, cheeses, and meats...so delish! I live nearby and haven't done the lunch buffet in years but I'll definitely be making it in for lunch more often. Libertys always has something on the menu for everyone...definitely a great place to bring a group because of the variety they offer...I know when we can't decide where to go, we always end up at Libertys because there's always something for each of our cravings, from pizza to fish, to tacos or Spaghetti and always good service and cold drinks...been a local favorite as long as I can remember. I even remember having a Liberty's pizza b-day party when I was a kid, when it was located on Main St., in...

Libertys is a staple restaurant in the Red Wing community! They offer a variety of delicious items on their menu along with daily specials. One of my favorite sandwiches is the Monte Crisco, served with a homemade strawberry spread that pairs deliciously. Don’t forget to ask for a side of their homemade peppercorn ranch, you won’t regret it. They create some of the best pizzas in town and are always coming up with new unique flavors like the dill pickle pizza. The service is outstanding and the owners are dedicated and committed to their customers experience. They are also Pilar’s in the community and always involved in local events and contribute to many benefits and fundraisers. You also have your choice of the dining area or the bar lounge so this can satisfy whatever dining experience you are in the mood for. Enjoy! Lots of history in this place.
