Bigoted + rude employees, overpriced everything-- AVOID THIS PLACE! I have been coming to this thrift regularly since moving to town. By far it has some of the most confusing prices I've ever seen. They sell art prints for hundreds of $$$ because they don't know what they are selling and assume it's a nice painting. The clothing prices are just as bad, and my trip today cemented that-- I found two jackets, identical but for size. One was being sold for $8. The other, smaller but same (down to the brand) jacket was being sold for $30! I can't justify spending like-new prices on clothes and furniture the Salvation Army gets donated for free. EDIT: Every time I come in it's like prices are worse. They treat the store like it's a boutique and not a Salvation Army. Just because you recognize the name brand doesn't mean you can charge like-new prices. They're *donations* to the store. The nearly-$300 tiny side table is a near-$300 profit for them when they paid $0. How are they helping impoverished people? How are they contributing to this community in any meaningful way? The staff treat you like a thief in progress unless you're a middle class older white lady just like them, it's uncomfortable to enter a store and be stared at just for being visibly a minority. Half the things that should have sticker price tags on them don't, and they refuse to sell anything untagged. Even when you hand it to an employee who has the tag maker in-hand in the back room. I wouldn't be surprised if it's intentional so employees get first dibs on inventory. It's the only logical explanation I can muster for these outrageous high-price items. 0 stars if I could. Go to Boxrud's, Annadee's, Wise Penny-- Anywhere but here.

Warning: if it's your first time prepare yourself for a brisk scolding from the cashier for not following his unique checkout procedure which will be explainined to you immediately following the scolding. No room for your tomfoolery here people you better toe the line... Aside from that it's a fun little throwback thrift store that hasn't yet made the pretentious transition to an over-priced "resale boutique" many of these stores seem to think they are now

They would not even let my 4yr old use the restroom. Not very Christian, and very rude! We went here to pick up a mattress after just having moved to town. We moved from Alaska so we left everything behind and are slowly replacing things as we can afford to do so. While l pi adding the queen mattress ok n til of our Caravan we asked if Emmett could please use their bathroom to pee because he was crying and balling he had to go so bad. Being from the Bush we told him t to just go on the tree in the alley and Not only did they refuse to let him use the tpilet but threatened to call the police if we even let him out of the car, and then promptly shut and locked their doors. By the time I got the bed safely lashed down so we could find a gas station... it was too late so my poor baby had to sit in his mess until we could make it back home!! This is obviously very upsetting from a place that's supposed to help those in need, but especially from an organization that identifies as...

Who is doing the pricing here?!? It's insane. IN.SANE. I seriously saw art priced at $200, 500, & $750! AT A SALVATION ARMY! It's like they looked it up, saw something similar online going for $$$, and decided their thing was probably worth that much as well. The staff seemed really nice - like, I asked about identical 2 glass pitchers. One was priced at $9.99, the other at $19.99. They said they couldn't do anything about it because their manager priced it and she wasn't there. They were also helpful when I asked if a question. Id give THEM 5 stars, but at these prices, I need to stay at 1. And I rarely give bad reviews. Oh, and since I'm ranting about things-- please fix the ceiling fan. It sounds like it's about to fly off the ceiling. You can probably afford to fix it with all those $700...
