Iâm giving a 2-star review because I LOVE my furniture but the whole experience of actually getting the furniture to our house has been a disaster. Things started out great with an in store sales person helping me price match to online prices on top of a sale that was currently going on. We ordered a whole set of living room furniture and a set of bedroom furniture. When we picked everything they let us know that the bed, the coffee table and the two end tables we wanted were on back order and it would be a month before they could be delivered. We didnât mind because we really liked what we had found. So we ordered in October, mostly everything came the end of October except for the bed and tables. First of all, their delivery system sucks anyway. They give you a day that it is to be delivered and then two days before that day they are supposed to call you and give you a 4 hour time frame to be home during. I got the call and it went to voicemail. You HAVE to call back and confirm the time otherwise they wonât deliver. So I called back and was on hold for over 20 minutes. Finally confirm that the time works. So besides that, the first shipment of things went okay. The people who delivered and set up were very nice. Anyway November comes around and the date they gave me for the second half of our stuff comes and leaves and nothing was delivered. I call the store and they say there was a mixup and things wonât actually come until December now. So I call the store and they tell me they can get the bed to me a little sooner but the tables still getting pushed back. The day for the bed comes and they deliver the wrong bed. (Also has to go through the calling back to confirm delivery time and being out on hold for 20+ minutes) I have them stop setting it up and take it back. Call the store and turns out that the sales woman actually ordered the wrong bed to begin with and our bed we wanted hadnât even been on back order this whole time. So she says we can have the floor model (no extra discount) or wait for a new one. I tell her Iâll wait for a new one instead of a floor model that weâd get for the same price....??? So another couple weeks go by and we finally get the right bed (again going through the calling back to confirm delivery time, being put on hold for ever. AND THEN they gave us a delivery time of between 1-4pm and then at 10:30 we get a text saying it will be delivered in 10 MINUTES! We werenât even home and had to rush back so we wouldnât miss them and have the bed returned. [so what is the point of this annoying call to confirm time or it would be delivered but actually thatâs not the time frame anyway?!]) This whole time we have been getting the automated calls about out tables being pushing back and to confirm times and blah blah blah. I also have got two or three texts from Ashley during this whole thing asking about my experience and if we have had any issues. Each time I texted back explaining the issues I got a responce saying someone would be in touch and then would never hear back. The whole thing has been super annoying. Mostly because I have to keep calling and babysitting everyone into doing what they said they were going to do. The sales lady here said she would call me every Sunday to update me and never did. She said they would take off 300 from the total for our troubles on the tables- I had to call back and remind her. She said she would have the finance department send me an updated receipt- I had to call back twice to remind her. If itâs going to take a day thatâs fine, but donât tell me youâll have it sent âwithin the next 30 minutesâ (told me that two different times btw) and then not do it. She also told me the âmanager would take care of usâ for the bed being the wrong one but then later said they already gave us the best deal so couldnât do anything else. So here we are end of November and still have a month to wait for our tables. They are supposed to be here dec 26th now. We ordered these in hopes of having everything set up for the holidays but looks like it will be...
   Read moreMy furniture was delivered with damage and I refused to accept it, their warehouse refused my refusal and was dealing with Warranty to repair or replace damaged furniture. I had to follow up on it due to their lack of communication and delays. Now I'm being told that they'll refund me but charge me for the delivery even though I refused the delivery from the beginning but they refused my refusal. Never going to trust Ashley furniture store, and will never recommend them to anyone. Now I'm waiting for them to pick up the damaged furniture that I have refused to accept from the beginning and haven't been able to use it.update: yesterday I found out that Ashley is delivering an exchange of the damaged furniture, but i already requested to cancel the claim and to pick up furniture that I no longer want from Ashley and requested for Ashley Furniture to pick up their furniture that i have asked to return and don't want it anymore. So now they've refused my request to return the furniture,that I refused in the first place, plus they refused my refusal of the furniture when it was delivered with damages on the new furniture. Now I have to wait until they decide to pick up damaged furniture that I refused but at the same time Ashley Furniture is trying to deliver the exchange after I have requested for the claim to be cancelled and return the furniture that I no longer want. Ashley Furniture's lack of communication and keeping their word on calling me is horrible experience and lack of accountability for their lack of professionalism and handling things in a timely manner. As posted earlier, Ashley Furniture warehouse refused my refusal of the damaged furniture that got delivered to my house,that was a tell tale sign for me that Ashley Furniture has issues within there company. Again I regret in doing business with Ashley Furniture in the first place, but lesson learned and never doing business with Ashley Furniture ever again plus once this is resolved I'm closing my Ashley Furniture account and will cut up my Ashley Furniture credit card...update 4/1/24 I'm not going to pay for the forced mattress that they're trying to make me keep after i refused everything from the beginning, be very careful with this furniture store ,they like to change their deals and they don't follow their own...
   Read moreWorst experience with a furniture delivery ever! 3 rooms of furniture were purchased, including an entertainment center and a sleeper sofa. The entertainment center, they wouldn't put together because apparently they don't do that but we were not told this when we purchased it so it was a big surprise that we had to put it together ourself. The full-size sleeper sofa, the delivery drivers decided it would not fit through the doorway of the room it was intended so they wouldn't even try. Didn't even take it off the truck. Called the store the same day, said they would reschedule a delivery and make sure they tried this time. Was told we'd receive a call letting us know when to expect it. Didn't receive a call, so we called to find out. Got a call that the sofa was on backorder, so it wouldn't be delivered for a couple of weeks. What happened to the one that was on the truck, at our house? Did they give it to someone else? Called customer service to make a complaint. Called the 800 number I was given to make this complaint and was hung up on by the agent who answered before I even finished my sentence. LOWSY delivery service. We will NEVER buy from Ashley again!
Update: Forgot to mention that one of the towers for the entertainment center was also on backorder. It was finally delivered by due to the holidays we didn't get around to assembling it until last month, Jan 2024. Got everything out only to find out the pre-assembled part was assembled incorrectly and was unusable. Called customer service to get this resolved and here we are a month later still waiting to hear what they're going to do about it. We call and call and call and keep getting the runaround. We just want a replacement tower and for them to take away the defective one. The trash service in our area won't take garbage that isn't in a city supplied trash can so we'd have to drive it over to the dump to dispose if it. I don't think we should have to spend time and effort to dispose of their trash. Anyway, we really want to have to talk to anyone from Ashley Furniture anymore. We'll call one more time and if we don't get definitive resolution, they are forcing us to report them to the State Attorney's office and to the BBB. I don't know how they stay...
