WHERE THEY LACK IN QUALITY, THEY MAKE UP IN QUANTITY

After spending the night a couple doors down and finding out the Motel didn't serve coffee, I was pointed in this direction. I was suprised to see the size of the store inside. Lots of cool stuff! However, I didn't receive much help from the one person working, even though I was the one customer in the store.

It was only 9 in the morning and 3 of the coffee canisters were empty, leaving me with a medium roast. It wasn't bad and they had coffeemates to go with it (the mini liquid containers - and I like those). They were out of lids though. I asked the girl about more and she said they must be over there. I couldn't find them but didn't make a big deal of this. I didn't have far to walk and really, the landfills don't need two extra lids extra time we want a coffee. We finished the small cups before getting in the car anyhow.

The two coffees and two string cheeses totalled just over $6. (ONe coffee was a half blend of coffee and the mocha stuff you get in the hot chocolate machines that always sit nearby, so it was probably a...

My friend and I went into Hickle’s Market to exchange a check for money, my friend brought an outdated check; meaning to bring the current check. The lady working there had sass immediately. She got defensive and was not understanding that the wrong check was brought. We came back with the current check and the lady said, “you brought an old outdated check in and I will not help you with your new check even though it is from five days ago” and then banned my friend and printed out her I.D. The attitude she had in her tone was unacceptable and not understanding in any manor. I am saying this to express how workers there need to take a deep breath and see the full perspective of situations before disregarding circumstances. My friend is is 17 and legally should not have a picture of her I.D....

If you're on the old side of town and you just need a soda or what not. then this little hole in the ground is good for you . they're not expensive and they have the normal stuff like you'll find a 7-Eleven. soda jerky... hard liquor and beer runs you know..... the average stuff. I give it two stars because it's kind of ran down and because of all the bums . I don't think you'd stop there unless you're hanging out with the boys/ girls stopping for beer or hard liquor something of that sort. you kind of feel an unsafe feeling from that general area with all the bums and lowlifes that hang around there , and it's not the store's fault . it's where it is in town. But on a hot summer (day).... not late evening or night if you need a soda definitely stop in...
