Read moreI was so disappointed in the service there. I've been waiting tables for over 10 years, so I know what good customer service is and this was by far the worst I've ever had. I always leave a tip even if the service isn't great because I know it means something, but this time I didn't tip just too make a point to this woman!
When my girlfriend and I came in we were celebrating and the lady who took our order ruined our whole experience. I don't mind spending a pretty penny when the food and the service is worth it but I was not happy about my bill considering my service. Everytime she would come to the table she was super rude with the way she talked to us. Also she was the only waitress who was wearing gloves and busing tables at the same time(which is fine, being a hard worker is great, but she served our food with the same glove she cleaned with) I tried really hard to find the positive.. (maybe she isn't a waitress, maybe she is just helping, but still you could have still given us good customer service, it's not that hard ) I ordered a meal that had soup and my soup came last on the table after my food was giving to me. On top of that the food I ordered was over cooked. When I tried to explain this to her, she literally yelled at me and said "NO that's what you ordered (seared tuna) I told you it's seared!! That's what you get" I was so embarrassed because my girlfriend had to tell me no if it doesn't taste good let them know. (I hate complaining as it is, because I've worked in the industry I know it is) but this was extremely rude!!! I just wanted her to let the cook know that the tuna YES was seared but it was well overcooked and dry! But no she told me "that's what I get and I'm NOT giving refund"! Everyone around us was staring... It was humiliating! Not to mention she was super pushy (like rushing us) she barely could speak English... I'm not trying to be rude but if you are going to work in the industry you should be able to be patient with us if we don't understand what you're saying one and two you shouldn't push us into hurrying up our order. Yes it was late, but we still had a whole hour before closing, so that was uncalled for! I love this place but I don't know if I'll be coming back due to the worst service I've ever had.. I can find other restaurants with just as good of food and waaaaay better of service. I Even asked for her name so I could call the manager and make a complaint but I forgot it, she should be fired!!!
I have to be pushed very far to write a bad review and I have to say if you go there don't let the lady who wears black plastic gloves...
Read moreWe went to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday but instead experienced the most unprofessional dining situation I’ve had in my life. We love Kobe and come often to celebrate throughout the year, but this time we were sat to dine with our server Jag’s baby mama and his child. The whole night was centered around his family, rather than to celebrate the birthday we came and paid to be there for. He spent most of the evening trying to spoon feed his cranky child who wouldn’t eat and to flirt with his girlfriend. Our evening consisted of this and worse. Our SERVER would lean his entire body over the hibachi table from the serving side to eat food off his baby mama’s plate. Sloppily. It was disgusting. We came to have a great night of celebration and left disgusted. I’ve never in my life watched waitstaff eat food with their fingers off another diner’s plate. I don’t care who they are, I’m not going to pay $100+ for a dinner to watch my server eat food with his fingers while we’re dining. This was unprofessional, inconsiderate, and our evening out was eaten up by bad service and low class behavior. Before this I would recommend Kobe to anyone I know. Today, I’d compare it to any other sloppy diner of choice that this town has to offer. But worse. I genuinely can’t believe what I saw tonight and we won’t be back anytime soon. Kobe, please clean up your act. You...
