Moseley Family Cellars — Attraction in Redding

I'm genuinely bummed that I don't live in Redding to make visiting the Moseley Family Cellars tasting room a more frequent occurrence! The historic Thompson House is the perfect backdrop for wine tasting. The thing I love most about MFC is that it doesn't feel like a wine bar. It's got wine and a bar... but it feels like you're hanging out at your trendy friend's house. There's a living room area with fireplace, a dining room, a front porch with a cafe table & chairs, and big front lawn with Adirondack chairs in pairs & quads. Truly a choose your own pleasure!

We couldn't pass up the perfect late spring afternoon, so I sunk into a deep Adirondack chair and enjoyed my wine tasting al fresco. The neon sign in the front window is the cutest, and just added to the overall vibe. Chuck was so hospitable, and brought me each pour from his post behind the bar inside. He gave insight into each wine, and then disappeared so I could enjoy at my own pace. MFC is very dog friendly, inside too, but I can't think of anywhere I've been in recent memory that was more perfect than wine tasting here on the front lawn with my pup in my lap. I have had two client appreciation events at Moseley’s this year and both times they have been amazing experiences. My clients love this venue and their wine! Mimi the owner is incredible to work with and her staff is top notch! The facility is gorgeous and centrally located with ample parking space.
