Well...it was just "ok" at first, but ended up being an experience that would end in never returning AGAIN!!! First of all, I'm vegan, and typically, places will have at LEAST one or two vegan items on the menu (ps. Don't allow "McDonald's fries to fool you, although the cashiers, and anyone else will explain they're fries are fried in all vegetable oil, when they actually have a BEEF ingredient that equates with ground up cow peices IN THE ACTUAL FRIES called tannal, or something, you can look it up online in their ingredients if you want the correct spelling, haha). Chik fil A, has a tasty looking vegan veggie wrap, that I ordered, but was soon after told they could not honor the order since apparently, the ONLY person "capable" of making ANY of their wraps, was not there.....WHAT???🤔🤨😒
SO, my only option at THAT point, was a TINY side salad, that wouldn't fill a squarrel up, and at the price of a big McDonald's salad, I'd have had to order THREE or FOUR, which I'd rather have a delicious salad at a restaurant while being waited on for THAT price, than eat a fast food version of what THEY deem "healthy." So the other complaint I had, was this is one of those places that offers free refills, but doesn't offer an available soda fountain for it's customers, so when we discovered they forgot ALL of our sauces we'd ordered, and I had to walk back up (dragging all of my kids and their friends out of the play place to do so), to retrieve said sauces, we had to wait in line AGAIN (the initial line was VERY long to order), just to get our sauces that should have been in their childrens meal bags! They don't have any rhyme or reason to their lines for this, either!! So basically, two people cut in front of me to refill their drinks, before my kids could even BEGIN eating their dinner!
The issue that REALLY made me ANGRY though, was an episode that occurred in their play place. Don't get me wrong, I realize they don't have to provide childcare, and they have no control over what happens in their play place, but my 3 little girls, while playing in there, were subject to racial hate statements, and endured quite the infuriating harassment!! These "WAY TOO BIG to be in a play place boys", began calling my little girls (and their Hispanic friend, 7, 8, and 9 yrs old) "white trash" and one said to my 9 year old daughter, "you're too ugly to have freckles!!" Now, I get "kids will be kids", but I've NEVER encountered ANYTHING like THAT in a fast food restaurant before in my LIFE, and I raised my kids in San Bernardino! Suffice it to say, we will not be returning to this establishment! UPDATE As you have read, our Chik fil A experience DEFINITELY left something to be desired, but it DEFINITELY WASN'T FOOD POISONING!!! YEP, my POOR little girls, and their friend ALL GOT FOOD POISONING from the fried chicken nugget children's meal!!! At first, I just thought my daughters had possibly caught some sort of stomach flu, when I received the phone call from the school nurse to come and pick them up, due to nausea and vomiting, but then discovered, their little friend who accompanied us the night before, had stayed home from school! I called her father, who then told me his little girl had stayed home due to nausea and vomiting. By the way, the way I determined it was the nuggets, is the accompaniment (cinnamon applesauce) wasn't even consumed by all the girls, but they all did eat the chicken). So, I called the Redlands Chik fil A where we'd eaten, (assuming there was some sort of protocol for this sort of thing), but all I got was a simple, "Sorry about that" no transfer to a manager, no free certificate or card for our trouble (not that we'll EVER be going back there again), but I can't IMAGINE my girls were the ONLY ones to become sick from their food last night, so if anyone put there DID get sick around March 6th of 2018, then leave a review, so at least everyone can steer clear of this restaurant, or at least maybe they read these reviewes, and take care of this...
Read moreSo I've been to this Chick-fil-A many many times. If you like Chick-fil-A and live in the area I bet you have too. The fired chicken there is good, I recommend the #1 deluxe (Chick-fil-A sandwich deluxe) dont forget the deluxe part. The best part of this place is they give you as many dips as you want! And they have little baskets all around for people to put there extra unused dips so you can try different ones or if you forgot to ask or just curious. The staff there are always nice and never had any issues with them. As a postmate and door dash delivery person theres days I go there 4-5 times a day; and the employees there are always friendly and professional. It can get busy.. really busy but you have to expect that from a popular place like Chick-fil-A. The only thing I wouldn't recommend.. in my opinion, is the free gluten bun. It comes in a little bag and is kept in a cool area so it's hard and cold when you open it to build your sandwich. The grilled chicken isnt very good. I wish the restroom was an little bigger. I have a son he is a toddler and he loves the play area I'm not sure how often they clean the area but I've seen worse play areas like Mc Donald's. Overall I recommend this location. Side not expect the drive thru to always be busy theres always a long long line no matter the hour I've gone... it's to the point that its in safe for drivers in the parking lot. One last thing! Their breakfast isnt the greatest I wish they just served the lunch menu all day so there would more selection because the...

It pains me to say this, but my recent experience at Chick-fil-A Redlands fell far short of the brand's renowned gold standard for customer service. Arriving during breakfast hours, we were met with the disappointing news that they were completely out of biscuits – a breakfast staple at Chick-fil-A! To add insult to injury, we were initially told the chicken minis, another popular option, were also unavailable and sold out.
After waiting over 30 minutes for our order, a timeframe significantly longer than what we've come to expect from Chick-fil-A, it finally arrived. Unfortunately, even that couldn't redeem the experience. Not only was the wait lengthy, but our order ended up being wrong. While others around us were visibly frustrated and arguing with staff, we chose to calmly accept our incorrect order and voice our concerns here instead.
It's evident that the Redlands location is struggling to keep up with the demands of their area. The lack of available breakfast menu items combined with the extended wait and order errors point towards potential issues with understaffing or insufficient training.
Ultimately, our trip to Chick-fil-A Redlands was a major letdown. The absence of the brand's usual warmth and efficiency was truly disappointing. To anyone planning a visit to this location, I offer a friendly heads-up: pack your patience. Best of luck, and hopefully, your experience will be closer to the excellent service Chick-fil-A...
