Terrible Service here, management and staff don't know their own policies. Their own policy states 16 weeks or younger require only 2nd set of shots for them to get groomed. My husband took them a day after their 2nd set and was told they couldn't take them because they needed a 3rd set plus the rabies, my husband asked to speak to the manager Kent. Kent didn't know the policy and had to call to even verify the insurance programs they carry. The manager told one of the employees to take the dogs that it was ok, but the employee who is pregnant and another employee named Alyssa refused. My husband was denied service, that weekend my husband and I went back again spoke with a different manager. That Manager looked at our vaccination paperwork from Vetco and from out of state breeders. He apologized for the inconvenience look up the policy and stated he'd make the appointment for them to get groomed, the only available appointment was 2 weeks ahead, I asked him if it would be an issue for my dogs to be exactly 16 weeks he said no. He promised my dogs would get groomed with no issues. Day before my appointment Alyssa called me to verify the appointment, she asked me to make sure I brought in my rabies shots once again. I told her that was not her policy she placed me on hold, when she came back on the line she said ok you can bring them with proof of their 3rs set, I told her no that's not your policy, she put me on hold again. When Alyssa came back on the line she said just bring whatever you have. Finally 5/2/21 @12:30 pm; walk in get in line for the groomer and already see the employee named Alyssa and employee who is pregnant look at us and they began shaking their heads and talking amongst themselves. Another groomer asked me if she could help, I informed her I had an appointment gave her my name immediately she asked for proof of my vaccinations and she stated she needed the rabies and 3rd set, I told her no that was not their policy. She looked at my vaccinations records and said she couldn't take out of state shots, she said she would bring the manager. Kent came to talk to me and my husband, stated again that he needed the rabies and 3rd set of shots. My husband was upset at this point, told him he didn't remember the first time of this issue. We again were denied service, the groomer had the nerve to tell me my dogs were older than 17 weeks, I asked her where was she getting this information when I had proof of age in my paperwork. Manager walked towards groomer and asked her why groomer picked up phone and walked away from Kent the manager. You can see he has no authority or knows how to manage his own employees. As I stated I was going to call corporate office and make a formal complaint the groomer Alyssa and the one who is pregnant began to laugh at us and waved as we left. Manager just stood there. Unprofessional, rude staff who don't know how to read and follow their own company policy. I payed into their Pet insurance and pet services and have not received them. Ran out of cat food, it was a rainy day so figured I would set up a petco account since they were doing a $20 off special for new customers. Ordered at 9:00 for same day delivery (expected delivery window 12:00pm-4:00pm), 4:45 rolls around so I check status and there is no update. Called customer service and was told they are not sure why it was never sent out for delivery and put me on hold multiply times to "look into it". They said to allow 24 hours for the team to get it figured out. I said I needed the order today, that is why I did same day delivery. I asked if I could just go to the store and pick up the order and was told no that I would have to wait for it to be delivered. I couldn't wait so I then placed an online order and paid again to just drive to get it. The email said to either go in to pick up or I could do curbside pick up which I loved. Drove 15 mins to the location, called the store and let it ring for a couple of minutes and ended up just going in. When I walked inside I was looking for online orders but didn't see anything. The line had about 15 people in it so I asked an employee where to go for online pick up and was told I would have to wait in line. Line was taking forever so called curbside pick up number again and you could hear it ringing and literally only 1 employee looked like he was working. He finally picked up asked for the order name and told me to pull up front and he would bring it out in a couple of minutes. Was trying to pull up front but it's a red zone and lots of traffic so couldn't just park there. Ended up having to park and get out to grab it from the employee. For a business if you can't support same day delivery then don't offer it, if you allow online orders then make a separate line for pick up and if you offer curbside pick up have a designated spot for it and not expect people to park in the red zone and stop traffic. Read moreAs of yesterday 1/1/ 2017 I have been keeping a saltwater aquarium and in the reef hobby for approximately five years. I received a couple of gift cards from family members over the holiday weekend and decided to go to Petco and spend my gift cards on a smaller nano reef tank I have been working on.
I after the cycle period passed I added a shrimp and a damsel fish to see of everything was ready and they were both living happily for 2 additional weeks before I added fish from petco.
All my water primaries are perfect as well as the salinity with no signs of any ick or bacteria or Alvie out breaks.
I purchased a bandage shrimp as well as a diamond goby and a clown fish, for my tank and they didn't even last 7 hours ! (60$ later )
I called and I asked the lady I spoke with, she stated to me that there is nothing they can do and it's a complete and total loss sorry about that. I mean I realize that the fish they get are sometimes bad orders but wow not even 7 hours and they were completely relectlant to help.
I will no longer go to pet co and spend the gift cards.
If you want fish go to an actual fish store don't take a shortcut because in the end it's going to be a waste of your money and they do not offer any type of a back up on anything I myself learned the hard way. To wear other fish stores will offer some sort of a discount or a group deal on your next purchase. I realize that nothing in this hobby is perfect but really literally seven hours and they were both dead after I complete a total acclamation and a full perimeter check on all of my water levels.
In conclusion I was extremely unsatisfied with the customer service I received and the helper on the other and not willing to even hear my story out and shutting me out before I even get to finish what I was saying I will no longer be a customer here please learn from...
