Popped in here running errands around Reno since we had a handy dandy 2 fer 1 coupon that we scored from Yelpstronomy. Easy to find with Reno Coffee Company located on the corner of Wells & Vassar in a cute store front that on this day the sun was shining in the windows as we were greeted kindly with a friendly hello as we looked over the menu to figure out what to order.
With pour over fresh coffee beans options as well as Blind Dog Tavern beer on tap we were in the mood that afternoon for a chai tea latte to take the chill away. RCC chai tea latte had plenty of milk alternatives that were immediately offered which is a refreshing change of pace from other coffee places, having us opted for our usual alt; almond milk - score!! We had a veryyy short wait for our warm, tasty drink that had the perfect balance of cinnamon, brown sugary goodness that gave us the pep in our step we were looking for to continue our errands. Friendly service and yummilicious warm drinks - yep we will return when we are in the...
Read moreI love coffee. A lot. Obsessively and as a hobby, not just something to drink. I am very good at making coffee myself in a variety of ways, but I still want to try every Nevadan coffee roaster that I can. Yet, it's never worth spending money to buy something I can make better at home. This is not something I'm saying to brag, but to set up how absolutely incredible this place is.
Reno Coffee Co is the first place I've found that I took a sip and was able to say, "I could never make a cup of coffee this good", and that was such a wonderful thing. The pour over technique they use and the high quality beans provided me with an experience that was 10/10, absolute perfection in every sip. The Peruvian was complex, naturally sweet and slightly fruity taste that needed no addition whatsoever
Hands down the best coffee shop I've ever been to. Do yourself a favor and get a cup, you will not...
Read moreCoffee is growing in Reno, and this spot is unique when it comes to the coffee crazy. They prepare and coffee in a drip style which takes a bit longer but I feel gives the coffee a richness with less of the bitter. The staff are all friendly and shout out to the owner for running an awesome spot in the heart of wells. The laid back feel brings a homey and comfortable place to just hang out. The selection of beans are plentiful and the ingredients used taste great and further enhances the taste to each cup. Not only do they have records and energy drinks for sale, they even have beer and wine on tap! Check them out for yourself and you will find yourself coming back...
