BRIDES BEWARE!!!!!! So on 7/26/25 I booked an appointment for my best friend to go bridal dress shopping, expecting a memorable and personal experience. When we arrived at 5:00 PM for our 5:15 appointment, we were greeted by a staff member whose demeanor was cold and blunt—not exactly the warm welcome you’d hope for during such a special occasion.

She told us we could browse until our appointment officially started. There were no other customers in the store, yet we didn’t see her again for another 35–45 minutes. In that time, we looked through the selection and were immediately underwhelmed. The entire store had maybe 120 dresses total—including bridal gowns, bridesmaids, mother-of-the-bride, and quinceañera dresses. For a store that markets itself as a bridal boutique, that’s surprisingly limited.

There were only about 20–25 bridal gowns available to look at, most of which had a dated, 1980s aesthetic. Many of them were rentals and visibly stained. The few more modern dresses were only available in sizes 10 or smaller, which felt exclusionary and frustrating.

To truly be considered a bridal store, there should be at least 100 dresses dedicated to bridal alone—with a range of modern-day styles, color options, and size variations. If you’re curvy or wear above a size 12, stay away. This is not a curvy-girl-friendly boutique. While they offer the option to order a dress in a larger size, you can’t actually try it on to see if it flatters your body or fits your needs.

The only part of the store that seemed to have high-quality options was the quinceañera section. If you’re shopping for a bridal gown, though, this doesn’t help.

The appointment cost $37 (including tax), which was the most expensive consultation we paid for all day. It was also the only boutique that charged tax—every other bridal store treated the fee as a non-taxable service. Despite the cost, we received the least amount of service and the least attention here. Nothing about the experience made my friend feel special or like a bride—it felt more like digging through the clearance rack at Goodwill.

This was a horrible way to end what had been a beautiful day. We dedicated the entire day to finding her wedding dress and had visited two other amazing local bridal shops earlier—both of which were welcoming, professional, and made her feel truly celebrated. This final appointment was a major letdown and cast a shadow on what should’ve been an exciting and joyful experience.

I had rated and reviewed this shop several weeks ago after a very disappointing experience. Noemi reached out to me explaining there was a miscommunication on their part and offered to have me come into the store for a fitting and a discount on a dress for the inconvenience. I asked for a specific dress style number which they did not have in store but were able to get a very similar dress so I could accurately find my dress size. They also allowed me to try on dresses in a specific color so I could see how it would look and send pics to the bride. Unfortunately I was unable to finalize a sale with them because of time constraints, despite even their efforts to expedite the making of the dress and shipping. Best selection of gowns in Reno and five star service by Amy. I've been looking for a MOTB gown since January and have been to all the stores in Reno and ordered several gowns from Neiman, Saks, Dillards,Nordstroms,etc. Then I remembered Enchanted Boutique but thought it was a quinceanera dress shop. I couldn't have been more mistaken, they have an array of beautiful, elegant, gorgeous gowns that I have not found anywhere else. I found eight that I was excited about and left with the "one". Amy is exceptional and brought gowns that I wouldn't have thought of but that I loved on. She also scheduled a seamstress for me this week for hemming and I'll be set.
