The worst customer service and experience. If I could give this store a -5 star rating I would. Last Sunday I went to the Men’s Warehouse on SmithRidge in Reno because my father had died 2 days prior. I was not aware at this time about a mandatory mask mandate that has once again been forced on the people. This review is not about debating masks…It is about the extreme lack of professionalism, service, rudeness, and zero human empathy of the entire staff. As soon as I entered (wearing no mask) the store several employees and sales staff saw me. Not a single one would do more than glance at me and then look away. Nobody came up to me and offered assistance. I would think that this type of retail and service would know that the majority of its customers will require help. For several minutes I stood there with no offers of assistance and several idle sales staff just gossiping or messing with their phone. Eventually I approached two employees that were chatting. I asked for some help and one of them told me they will not help me because I am not wearing a mask. I explained that my father just died and I was not aware of this mandate. He then smugly replied “too bad but sorry it’s our policy”. I asked if they had a paper mask I could use or something in its place. He told me to get my own mask and offered no solution or even a remote interest in helping me in any way. During this time several employees are just staring and did absolutely nothing. I said I guess I’ll just leave then. He said “yep”. The callousness and rudeness shown to me was absolutely ridiculous. This place hires entitled rude little punks with no class or social values. They have zero business working anywhere a customer is involved. I will never go back. I have also informed all of my family, friends, and business associates of my awful experience to ensure they will look at shopping elsewhere always. You’re a waste of...
Read moreMy brother and I rented suits for his wedding and we were told that we would get them before the wedding so we could try them on to make sure everything worked. They assured us that we would be able to expedite different sizes if something wasn’t fitting right. We received both suits a weeks before the wedding and tried them on that night. My brothers vest was to big, his shirt was wrinkly and the suit jacket had weird ridge bumps close to the neck when he put it on. It basically didn’t fit him. My pants were to short and to tight in the calves. My brother went in the next day to swap what didn’t work and they told him he was basically out of luck and he would have to deal with it cause they didn’t have any different sizes. I went in the following day and the guy I talked to looked at me funny when I told him my pants weren’t fitting right and made it seem like there was nothing he could do. He said “well we don’t have anything here right now to switch it out with”. Obviously?! They said they would expedite shipping so I do not know why he even said that. I told him the wedding was a week out so it shouldn’t be a problem, assuming he would tell me they could expedite. He just told me to put the pants on in the back so he could check them out. I did this and came out of the dressing room and he disappeared. I waited 10 minutes for him to come back and he didn’t. Everyone else was busy with a customer. Not sure what’s going on at this place but the service is strange and not super helpful after you get your suit. I walked out because I needed to go to other errands and didn’t have time to wait for someone to notice the guy standing patiently waiting for help. What’s the point of getting a nice suit for a wedding if it doesn’t even fit. $600...
Read moreThis should be a 2.5 star rating. Honestly I just don't know anymore...What was once a respectable place for "guaranteed" quality has left me really contemplating other options. I have history with this place (Menswarehouse Reno), which is why I've maintained my loyalty. Lately though, I feel & have seen it's splendor slowly fade into a faceless industrial crowd where unfortunately for us, the customer, quality is cancelled out by quantity. I understand we all have bad days, we do but to possess the opportunity of making or breaking ones day (the customers) either by high standards that will not only leave a greatly appreciated impression but also a sense of near obligation of returning because regardless of EVERYTHING...THEY MAKE GREAT DAMN SUITS! or to settle for, ehh whatever, it is what it is, I'm here for my check & to choose NOT to seize that moment, that privelage, that drive, truly is a shame. That, that is what I dont understand.
I have a pair of pants. Hem came undone. I took them in, 3 days later, picked them up. Now, I'm sure as a customer, we can ALL agree that when you take any specific item to the respective place for that specific service of that specific item, it is expected it will be serviced in the most appropriate manner, correct? Well, behold...Let all the information you just read above soak in. As for the not so imaginative, don't lose hope, there is a picture. So,...
