Loco Ono - Poke & Hawaiian BBQ (Reno, Midtown) — Restaurant in Reno

My partner and I dropped by Loco Ono for our final meal together since it was an easy grab-and-go poke and their pricing was fair.

For $13, I was able to get a delicious tofu plant-based poke bowl with so many fixings. They offer all the usual toppings from edamame to seaweed salad, and all different kinds of sauces to amp up your bowl. I appreciated being able to select brown rice and mixed greens as my base for no additional charge.

The regular size bowl was a large portion and was perfect for 1.5 meals, but of course I ended up eating it all at once.

Our server was also super friendly and helpful. The moment I told her that everything would need to be vegan, she made sure to read out which sauces were vegan friendly without me asking, and even loaded up my bowl with so many veg toppings that it was bursting.

First time here and everything was amazing!! We both ordered the Chicken Katsu and no doubt the BEST we have ever had!! Not just in Northern Nevada but Phoenix, AZ as well!! Really good clean food, cooked to perfection with love you could tell!

The service was awesome and welcoming, being our first time there, they were patient and very friendly and answered our questions about the menu. The really nice gentleman there even brought us some of their teriyaki sauce to try and that was really good as well. I like how they greet everyone that walks in and wishes everyone a good day when they leave.

I tried several times already to call this place, but non answered to my call!. I was this place on Oct. 11 and bought regular poke with Octopus which was gone really bad, smelled bad! When I called your store, I was told to return the food and offered with " money back"! I did not eat food and kept it refrigerator and returned it next day, Oct. 12, 2023. A black guy, seems to be new worker at the register helped me to refund my money in manager guy's presences! I believed them for refund! It's November now! But NO REFUND made at all!
