My wife and I planned to celebrate our 5-year anniversary with something new and fun, so we found Links Golf in Rexburg online. Their website looked promising — indoor golf simulators, a lively atmosphere, food available, and even memberships for 24/7 access. They also clearly advertised specific “staffed hours” for walk-ins, ( I included a picture from the website) so we booked our booth during those times, expecting someone to actually be there to help us.
What a joke. We got a 4-digit door code with our booking, but the front door was locked tight with no keypad in sight. All the lights were on inside, but the place was completely deserted. After 15 frustrating minutes, we discovered a marked door around back with a keypad — but my code didn’t work no matter how many times I tried. It took my wife randomly adding a “#” at the end to finally get the door open. That critical info? Nowhere to be found on their website, invoice, or instructions.
Once inside, the place was a ghost town. No staff, no greeting, no explanation. Our reserved booth was just a bare Windows desktop, not even set up. We had to figure out how to launch the golf software ourselves, wasting more of our paid time. The speakers on the walls? Dead silence. The “food” their Rexburg site promised? Completely nonexistent. Turns out, all the slick promo videos were filmed at their Utah location. Very misleading.
The only highlight was the massive dump I took in their bathroom that finally made my stomach feel better.
Bottom line: Links Golf is a painfully mismanaged, misleading waste of money. No staff when advertised, no food, no atmosphere, zero customer support, and no clear instructions. I’d give zero stars if I could. Save yourself the embarrassment and frustration — hit up Taco Bell around the corner instead. At least they’re open, staffed, serve food, and won’t ruin your...
Read moreHad a great time here! It’s a very fun addition to the area and makes for a great spot to go during our long winter season. I’d recommend to anyone looking for an entertaining time. As an all sports simulator, no matter the skill level or interest of your crowd, everyone will enjoy. When we went it seemed to be completely unattended by any employees. We waited patiently for our bay but the previous group was still there until we finally said something and had to kick them out ourselves. There was no one there to enforce reservations. Bathroom was not clean. As first timers, any questions we had about the system we just figured out ourselves as there was no one there to help or get things set up for us. Still had a great time! Just seemed to be lacking some on...
Read moreMy wife and I decided to get their night owl membership for at least a month just to try it out and it is great! They have an off season thing so we can reserve for anytime with that membership and it is a steal of a deal! They have some awesome golfing systems that even have help built in so you can see where you had hit your ball if it went somewhere unexpected. For us beginners it was really fun! Especially because this membership allowed us to bring a couple friends to enjoy the golfing together! We have never been big golfers and this really seems to be a great...
