Had gone in this evening & the only employee was on the phone, I had even instructed my daughter & niece to try to be super quiet so the employee could focus on the work call. Once the employee had hung up she didn't say hi to us, didn't ask if we needed help with anything, and couldn't even try to fake a smile towards us. The only thing she could tell us throughout our entire time there was "hey guys, just so you know we're closing in 5 minutes." There was a couple who was in the store at the same time and they walked out 5 minutes after close. I was planning on purchasing some items but I'd rather spend my money somewhere where the employees can treat me like they care, like they want me to spend my money there. Had put the items back that I selected and glad I didn't grab the additional items I was wanting to purchase. As my daughter, niece, and I were heading to the door to leave then a lady enters and the employee greats her by saying "Hi, welcome in!" In a happy, chipper tone, and willing to help. The only thing she could say to us was her giving me a time limit but I guess she just assumed that I couldn't tell time, even with a large black smartwatch on my wrist. Maybe ask someone if they need help with anything and have them feel a tiny bit valued before letting them know when you close. Olive Ave. is the best boutique I have been to. They seriously don't get enough credit for what they do. I've been to a few boutiques, and everyone treats you just like you're walking into another store. When I walked into Olive Ave. I instantly felt comfortable and was approached kindly, asking if I needed anything. That day, I happened to be looking for a certain kind of dress, and I was unable to find it because they were all sold out. However, I found the dress behind the counter, most likely reserved for someone, but asked anyways. They said it was reserved, but if the person didn't show up to get it, that they could give me a call. They promptly took my information and said they would give me a call. I thoroughly enjoyed that they took the time to make sure that I was happy. Olive Ave. definitely cares about their customers as individuals, and not just as a whole. The owner of Olive Ave. is also the sweetest person ever. I love how she cares more about the customer and is always checking in with us over Instagram and other various social media platforms. She is always attentive to what the customer may like or want to wear and I really appreciate that about Olive Ave. I would definitely recommend Olive...
