We did the Betrayal room not too long ago and we did it with a group of 5 people.
First off, I still recommend people going to this place because escape rooms are fun and it is always worth it. That being said, our group does a lot of escape rooms including all the ones in Idaho Falls, and across several states. When we did the betrayal room we knew it was the hardest room going into it.
The staff was really friendly coming in and they were informative and patient, especially since we scheduled our escape room a few hours before we were supposed to be there. So kudos to that! In regards to the room itself, it was definitely tough. What was tough was that we would solve one puzzle, and then we would have absolutely no idea on what to do next. We started out strong, but then as we got further and further into it, it just felt like nothing would connect unless we got a clue. Usually in previous escape rooms, we are able to connect what we find in the puzzle to the next puzzle we have to do. But there just seemed like there was a big disconnection and that was frustrating for us. Some puzzles were also a little finicky because it was sensitive and the sensors didn't pick up very well. So we would have to adjust the items a lot in order for the sensors to kick in and then unlock the puzzle. Towards the end of the room, it just felt like every puzzle we had to ask the game master for help (bless her heart, she was so patient). We did end up completing the room, but man it was frustrating.
Overall, I think the escape room had good intentions. And they told us it was going to be hard so I am definitely factoring that in! We have done a lot of escape rooms too so there are certain things that we look for, and maybe that is what was throwing us off. But we would always have a good idea of what to do or how to solve the puzzle but we would be missing some information and the techniques to find that information was just so disconnected or far fetched. A good escape room is able to lead us in on what to do next after solving a puzzle (sometimes we all need clues to get us on the right path again) and it just felt like the entire time we had to ask for clues in order to get through it which is neither fun for the participants or the...

Went in with a group of 4 people including myself. We went into the Kidnapped room. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The waiting room has cubbies to store you things or you can hand things to the staff to hold behind the desk. There is a big chalk board with rules on it, a couch, and a bean back for when you are waiting for your experience to begin.
The introduction was easy to understand and we were given our "story". The room itself was very small so I am glad there were only 4 of us. The size only adds to the story which was great. The room was covered in fake blood and other decorative objects that were creepy! It was hard for us to get started but once we did we were able to open a few of the objects. We did use all our (3) clues and (2) clarifying questions and the game masters were very helpful. We did end up staying past out allotted time of 1 hour, however, we were so close to the end that I think the game master wanted to give us the chance to complete the puzzle. Very tough puzzle but overall very fun.
If I had any feedback I would suggest the temperature of the room be a little more controlled but apart from that we had a totally positive experience and will...
Read moreHello! We went yesterday and it was a lot of fun!!! We were in the Wardens room. The only thing that I wish was more clear, was that the safe that was electronic could only be tried three times. Not to spoil anything, but my sister and friend figured out the maze, but they weren’t supposed to be the ones to open the safe. It was a little disappointing that because they cracked the maze in the wall, we weren’t able to crack the safe correctly. They thought they wouldn’t have to deal with the electronic safe. So, if those instructions were emphasized more, and communicated for both teams, that would have been great! The staff there said this had never happened before, so we accidentally did a step without the information provided, and that must have been what messed it up. No problem though!! Just a suggestion! We really did have such a great time, and we will be coming once again to try the...
