My fiance came in about an hour ago for just one drink. He waited for 30 plus minutes. After he left, I called and asked for a refund due to the long wait. Brian J. told me that he was very sorry and that it was only him until 4, which was right after my fiance left. I want to praise Brian J. for how he did his very best when there was a lot of people in there ordering. The fact that he apologized and didnāt try to make excuses was very heart warming knowing thereās employees out there that still care about their customers. I do want to say that, due to no lack of Brian J, there should be more employees working instead of just one. No one should have to call and ask for refunds or anything all because there is only one employee working, this just makes the employee feel bad. Never should an employee also have to apologize for the lack of hiring on the owners behalf or having just one person work. The sad part is Iām not sure how long he was working by himself, probably exhausted especially after the rush he went through BY HIMSELF. Please praise Brian J. and give him a raise. He also told me that he was not a manager. So as someone who has worked in food services, why was there no manager on duty? I would love to keep coming but the lack of hiring is disturbing. Why would I want to give money to people who lack care of employees and why would I want to give someone who works alone more work to do. This is outright disturbing as a customer that employees are not treated right. I also rated 5 stars for Brian J, not for the company. The company deserves no star ratings in my opinion. Please take in consideration of your employees and please, as a customer, overall...
Ā Ā Ā Read more2025 UPDATE (OWNERS PLEASE READ): This place is usually a family go-to. It's friendly, customer oriented, and quick when you want to get drinks as a group. However, in the last month or so there has been a severe drop in availability, service, and environment.
The drinks are still good, but the ingredients have been so limited. Multiple drinks and flavors are constantly unavailable (supply chain issues can be difficult, but I haven't seen anything like this here before), I was in the shop with a child and there was music on dropping f bombs every few lines, and the service lately has been a little less friendly. I don't know if this is due to employee stress (it's hard to work when you are constantly having to tell people you don't have the drinks they want) or not but I don't want this place to fall because the company is expanding.
I was even surprised to find that, on one occasion, I went during open hours and the entire place was closed with no sign or indication that it would be reopened any time soon. I checked social media too and no post was made indicating that the place was supposed to be closed for any reason..
It is such a gem here and I would hate for it to tank in quality because the company is growing. Hopefully things start to improve.
Previous 5 star review: I didn't think I would like Boba because I'm usually a coffee drinker, BUT--I've been converted here! It tastes wonderful and has swayed me towards tea. I'll pick going here over the coffee places in Rexburg the majority of the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy fiance found this place and I was not disappointed. If you love smoothies and you love boba, you have to come here. I got a smoothie with the tapioca pearls(boba) added in and I am most definitely planning on going back many times. The smoothie was well flavored; not too subtle and not overpowering. It's a small detail, but the cup it came in was sturdy and the lid does come off, but not easily. Some boba places I've been to before, their cups felt rather thin and they didn't come with a lid, it just made me happy that Boba Luv's do. It you've had boba before you may notice that the pearls start to freeze after a little bit of being in the smoothie. These ones still do, there really isn't any way to get away from that, but I noticed that it took longer for them to get to the point that you couldn't get them with the straw. I like it when they freeze, but I know many don't. So if you want to savor the flavor and enjoy the boba, you don't need to cause yourself a brain freeze doing it. But if you like the firmer feel, you can have that too. Very reasonable pricing and the hours are perfect for practically any schedule. The lady who was running it when we went was very kind and you can tell that she enjoys what she does. It did not take her very long to get two smoothies out. If it's more busy, it would probably take longer. There are lots of flavor options and you can pick up to three to combine and enjoy. Honestly the best boba...
