I would suggest any other Verizon store before using this one. We took my daughter's phone in because it was not working properly. The girl who waited on us pretty much said sorry, it's not under warranty as of 2 months ago nothing I can do for you, maybe try the computer store down the road. Tell so and so I sent you. It was like pulling teeth to even get her to look at my phone that I was asking questions about also. So we went there and he said it could be the battery and replaced it. It would not work so he said take it back to Verizon and tell them to give you a new SIM card. Took the phone back and another person is there who now proceeds to tell me there is a recall on this iPhone 7 which the first person did not even mention. So he tried a new SIM card which did not work so he said that it is most likely the recall which happens to be the SIM card reader and go to an Apple store. We took it to the Apple store and called several days later to check the status and they told us it was back but denied because it had been "tampered" with. They could now not do anything even though it should have been fixed because of the recall. So we contacted Verizon again. Explained that because their employee did not give the recall information and told us to go to another store, we are now out of a phone that was paid off. The best they will do is a case and a charger, but we have to buy a new phone. So, we have a perfectly good phone only a little over a year old with a recall that should have been fixed at no cost to us and now we have to purchase another $500+ phone because their employee did not give us accurate information. The employees at Apple said they tell every retailer to always send customers to an Apple store only and they should have told us of the recall. So disappointed in their customer service. Read moreThe small location leads to less wait time than at the large Verizon Stores. The staff was friendly and helpful. At the time, I asked if there was any savings to buy 2 phones at once and if there was any price different if I financed or not. I was informed, "No" to both. I paid in full for both new phones. Unfortunately when i received my bill I saw $1 financed over 24 months for each of the two new phones.
Clearly, I am not concerned over $1, but out of principle, I had to call Verizon and question this charge. It felt like they were sneaking in additional charges. Verizon stated that they would fix the mistake, but a month later, it was still on my bill. I called back a month later, Verizon was no help. They advised that only the Verizon authorized store that I made the purchase at could fix the issue. When I called the local store in Gibsonia, I spoke to Cara and she was very helpful and getting the situation remedied. She took my information and called me back once things were taken care of, not to mention, I wasn't on hold for an extended period of time. I had been avoiding upgrading my Google Pixel 2XL phone because I am technically challenged and expected it to be a painful process. Josh Ritter was so kind and knowledgeable and immediately put me at ease. He informed me that I was eligible for a $350 loyalty discount on a Pixel 7 which made my decision to upgrade an easy decision. I was never pressured to purchase accessories through Verizon. Josh and his associate transferred my data and even installed the screen protection and case that I purchased on Amazon. Plus Josh and I shared a great conversation about the Marine Corps while my data was transferring. Special thanks to Josh and my son for their service to our Country in the Marine Corps.
