The team at two different Mattress Firm stores really helped me learn the intricacies of mattress differences among various brands. Sending a shout out to Michael at Gibsonia who worked with me on two of my visits, John that location’s store manager, on one visit and Kyle at the McKnight Rd. location on one visit, as I went through this learning journey over several days. They each contributed different pieces of information that combined answered all my questions and me ultimately buying the mattress. We worked with John at Mattress Firm in Gibsonia. He listened to what we said we looking for, a firm queen-sized mattress. John gave us each a pillow and had us lay on several brands of firm mattresses. John also had us lay on firm mattresses on top of box springs and adjustable bases for under the mattress. We chose a Beautyrest Pressuresmart queen-sized firm mattress and a Sleepy adjustable queen prime base that we preferred. We got a very good price for what we purchased including a protection plan for the adjustable base, which we have never used before. They were in stock and are set to be delivered in two days. John was very informative, polite, hospitable (offering us water and snacks) and dpent a generous amount of time with each of us. He took time to explain the difference in the various product lines, gave us the time we needed to thoroughly try out each mattress to ensure we bought the best for our needs. Mattress Firm stands behind their products. We had an issue 10 years ago with an old pillow top and they warrantied the product and gave us full credit to move into a Tempurpedic.
