Walgreens — Local services in Richmond Hill

Walgreens on August 31 quoted me $337.42 for 3 tabs of prescribed 50mg Ubrelvy. That's $110 per 50 mg tab. On October 8, 2022 Walgreens quoted me $1,799.59 for 16 tabs (50 mg) of Ubrelvy medication. That's $112.47 per tab. This is the one and only medication I have found to be effective for my occular migraines. On October 13, 2022, Walgreens quoted cost was $518.80 for 16 tabs. That's $32.38 per tab The same amounts of $518.80 we're quoted by Walgreens on October 13, October 16, and October 18, 2022, for 16 tabs. The manager in Richmond Hill, GA could not explain the discrepancies in my quoted costs, other than, if you want it, that's the price. Which is retarded. No explanation for the varied pricing, and no consideration on his part for how I have been treated. On a different medication, I in person requested a quote for a refill. I was quoted $28.97. I went to pick it up, and for no acceptable reason, my price was arbitrarily increased to $45.00. Once again, the manager offered no rational explanation, but did acknowledge that Walgreens will NOT honor, and will NOT stand behind prices they quote when orders are placed. This is deception. I had an antibiotic filled here for my 2 year old last week. We wasted half the bottle because she refused to take it... So I had the doctor call in a refill on the antibiotic just two days after having it filled originally. I knew my insurance would not pay for this medicine again so I called the store to tell them I would pay the cash price for it. The lady who answered the phone (I wish I had gotten her name) told me she had already called the insurance to get an override and the rx would be ready shortly! I'm a pharmacist and understand the insane demands that are placed on all pharmacy employees. I was so pleasantly surprised when I found out this employee had gone so far above and beyond what is required.

Posting in hopes that management will see. Maci is a great person to have on the Walgreens team! I coupon for diapers and Walgreens had a coupon for $30 rewards when you spend $100. One of the boxes of diapers I got was out of stock. I went in with the hopes of adding another to the order so I could still get $30 off. She explained it couldn’t be added (which means there goes $30) I explained and said I would just leave and call customer service to see what they could do. She instead of letting me do that helped me by manually (since it wasn’t working automatically) adding the points and coupons to a separate transaction to make it total correctly!
