Heartfelt gratitude for the care, taste, and kindness
I want to sincerely thank this Japanese restaurant for the delicious food, warm service, and respectful communication.
I had ordered a miso soup and shrimp — both arrived fresh, beautifully packed, and full of flavor. There was a small issue during my ordering process (I was not familiar with the app’s flow), and I had to call the restaurant to adjust it. The person who answered the phone was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful — not just professional, but truly respectful and attentive. That means a lot.
Special thanks to the Uber Eats delivery driver too — a friendly and bright — he delivered everything with a great attitude and right on time. It felt like the whole experience was wrapped in care.
The soup tasted rich and nourishing, the shrimp were cooked perfectly. Even though I was at a truck stop, far from home and on the road, I felt seen and held. That’s rare, and beautiful.
🌸 Thank you for turning an ordinary meal into a comforting moment of kindness. I’ll definitely...
Read moreI used to come here a lot for hibachi for birthday celebrations when i was younger. Today was my 19th birthday, and I was very excited to eat here because it had been a very long time since i had been back. The food was amazing, lots of nostalgia. My only reason for a mostly negative review is because the chef asked what my gender was. I am a girl, but I keep my hair mid-length and dressed in a nice shirt and pants. The way that i dress myself may not be “girly” but you can clearly tell by my figure that i am a girl. I was extremely uncomfortable by the question, and it made me very upset. Kind of ruined my birthday vibe. I was very uncomfortable for the rest of the dinner/service. Our chef also made rude comments about my grandparents regarding a statement that my grandpa had made regarding a steak he ordered. I know old people are picky, but you shouldn’t say that to the family that they came with. Overall, food was great, but our chef was not.
update: the sweet servers/hostess brought me a fried ice cream as a birthday treat....
Read moreMy friends and I arrived around 8:30 and keep in mind they close at 9:30. They were more than welcoming with seating us. As the food was arriving by someone that wasn’t our waiter, a little girl (long hair and glasses) handed the food out and said thanks for coming so late (out of no where). We asked if there was a problem. Instead of apologizing to us for the rude comment. She continues to go back and forth on being rude. As we’re leaving a younger gentlemen apologizes but the little girl was still talking. The older people who were working there were just letting her be rude so I am assuming she is their daughter or something. Regardless, no one should act like this especially if we were seated from the beginning. Never going back because of that little girl and the food was not good as well. Please control the little girl. DO NOT GO‼️ so many better places in Savannah with...
