Really really really rude male cashier. Didn’t even acknowledge me. He had opened the lane and I went to put my stuff on conveyer belt and he pretends i don’t even exist and calls someone over from the other line even tho they were next in line for the other lane not this one. Even his facial expression said “ I don’t wanna be here and you aren’t even worth acknowledging “ now my whole vibe is off and I feel very negative where before I was having a good day. Is this how you train your employees? I don’t think I want to shop here anymore.if the cashiers look like they would rather die than smile at you or at least be kind and respectful and cordial i feel it’s not worth it to shop here bc even that short interaction is enough to heavily impact my mood upon leaving the store and it left a really bad taste in my mouth
Let me clarify also, there was not a long line at other register it was only the people checking out and then the woman behind them. That’s it.
My kids had already run up to the register as I was putting my stuff on conveyer belt and so it was made even more awkward when I had to try to get all 3 of them out of the woman’s way when he called her over and ignored me entirely. It was extremely uncomfortable and he made me feel like I was just a piece of garbage not worth even a polite communication of any sort. The whole thing was bizarre and offensive behavior for a cashier to say the least. I asked my mom what she thought of it when I got home and she said “wow did he seriously do that?...
Read moreALDI is an interesting shopping experience in that it has groceries, but not all groceries are available. It has some fruits and vegetables, but not all. Also know that the grands they have aren't familiar as the might be from another region. The frozen foods might be unfamiliar as well. Some of there brands are better than others. You can get steak and chicken. You can get some canned goods too. This store also has some specialty items like trash can or plastic organizers. There might even be some computer related items and outdoor items as well. It all has to do with the season and which holiday is coming. My wife and I come here on occasion to get the staple items such as bread and milk. The closest more comparable store might be Save A Lot. They have a unique shopping cart program implemented here. Stick your quarter into the slot to release the chain to remove the chain to use the cart and once your done return your cart and reengage the chain lock key to retrieve your quarter. Ingenious little set up. Anyway, check it out when yo have time. Who knows you might save some money. I believes that the idea behind this store and...
Read moreEdit to add: I think the employee who posed a danger has been spoken to and is trying to be less agressive. Thank you, Aldi!
Overall, I like this location. However, there is an agressive male who stocks the aisles that is gaining a negative reputation among regulars of this store. Today, he came up quickly behind me repeating "excuse me" in an irritated tone. I moved out of his way as quickly as I could. However, he was going so fast that he swerved into my cart. He became vocally angry at me until I called him on his behaviour. Had I been an older customer or a child, and had his carelessness rammed him into me rather than my cart, it I could have been seriously injured due to his force and speed. I can see from other reviews that his behaviour isn't isolated, and that he repeatedly tries to blame customers for his actions. I hope management will consider that he is a customer injury waiting to happen. I am very grateful for the professionalism of the girl I related the incident to in the store. However, I hope his behaviour will be fully resolved and no longer a danger to...
