Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Richmond

I wanted to treat my Mom to the new Dutch Bros in Richmond, KY. We both got medium chai lattes since we are always looking for the next best chai. The total for both drinks was over $10-11, which isn’t horrible, but a little high. Everyone was nice and all, but the chais…they were probably one some of the worst drinks we’d ever had. We tried to drink them…stir them to see if they weren’t mixed properly…we tried to add stuff to them to make them taste better, but ultimately we had to throw them away and we went to McDonalds to get drinks. We were so disappointed, especially after I had paid $10-11 and hyped up Dutch Bros so much to her. The chais literally tasted like hot water with a little foam or some odd sweetness. I asked her if she wasn’t told it was a chai and she had tasted it what would she say it was and she said a Vanilla Latte. It was just an all around really unfortunate experience! My first visit to Dutch Bros was in Richmond, Kentucky. Customer service was superb coffee excellent! I asked for a mixed frozen drink and they were very accommodating in mixing the two flavors when the gentleman came to the window to hand me the drinks I saw that they had a green apple flavor in kids sizes and I asked "hey do you all sell the green apple 🍏 flavor in adult sizes he said yes do you want apple I said no I already ordered something different and don't want to have you make another drink he said no ma'am it will be no problem at all. I said no, I just would like to know for future reference. He said, "Are you sure because I can make it no problem. I said no, no, but thanks for offering. I have not seen this kind of service in years. I will definitely be visiting the Dutch Bros in my residing state to get more of this coffee and a frozen drink. Hopefully, I get the same...

Dutch Bros is hands down my go-to energy spot for coffee and rebels—I went 85 times last year! The vibe here is always upbeat and welcoming, and the team as a whole does an amazing job making every visit enjoyable.

That said, I want to give a special shoutout to Paul. He truly embodies the Dutch Bros attitude—always friendly, chill, and genuinely engaging. Whether it’s remembering my order, offering a new flavor combo or just adding that extra bit of positivity to my day, Paul consistently goes above and beyond.
