Had a wonderful time on the walk with my service dog but I think it would be a lovely tour outdoors with your pooch too! I don’t want to give anything away so I’m just going to say that my guide was great at painting a lovely picture of what the land looked like way back when and the history along with inhabitants of homes and business (former… kind of). Personally I love these ghost tours because you get a history less that’s not boring and when someone comes back into the world it’s for an attachment so you get a personal speculation why they felt the need to stay which just grounds you more in the root of history and makes it much more memorable than reading a few plaques and remember a mere fragment. Kick me in the butt I forgot my guides name (starts with M and may Melisa) but I really wish I could take her for a glass of wine or tea time at Jefferson Hotel. She was great and passionate with tons of fun facts. Chris was also right there through text with any questions and also directions and restaurant recommendations. I’d...

I had a fantastic time on the Phantoms of Franklin tour with Martha as our guide. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the history of Richmond come alive in a unique way. Her storytelling was captivating, blending historical facts with just the right amount of spookiness to keep us all intrigued.

Martha's enthusiasm for the subject was clear, and she was more than willing to answer questions and share interesting details at every stop. Her friendly and approachable demeanor made the tour enjoyable for everyone in our group.

If you're looking for a memorable and insightful experience in Richmond, I highly recommend taking this tour with Martha. She truly made the night special!

This should capture a positive experience without being...

The tour is advertised for 75 to 90 minutes. It barely lasted an hour and we literally walked around the block. The historical information was good but the ghost stories were blah. The man who lead the tour acted like he doesn't believe in his product and even said at the end of his tour that he has never had any experiences and doesn't think he is the kind of person that would have any experiences...or something to that effect. He needed to put some drama into the stories. Wish it had covered more territory and been longer like we paid for. I do think that the other tours that this company offers would have...

Thank you for a fun, pleasant Haunt of Franklin Street tour that included the beautiful Jefferson Hotel, Linden Hall Inn, a VCU advertising building, the Richmond Library, home of Pulitzer Prize-winning author Ellen Glasgow, and several more. Travis, our guide, was interesting and knew his stories! I recommend it snd plan to do the Church Hill and Shockoe Slip ones, including the tuktuk option.

We had a great time! Very cool to learn some of the history of the famous Jefferson Hotel and nice to walk around the area. It’s not super haunted, which is both good and bad. Would love to try some of the other tours to learn more about our city!
