This is not a bowling alley. It's an arcade / bar that happens to have some bowling lanes that they don't know how to maintain. If you want to bring the family and let them go wild and have some fun, then this is a decent place to do it. If you want to bowl a league, then save yourself the frustration. The equipment didn't work correctly or was completely broken every single week for 7+ months. It's too dark (can't even see the boards on lane 17/18, which you'll have to use sometimes because other lanes are complete broken again). It's too LOUD. You literally have to yell at your team mates to even be heard. Forget having a 50/50 raffle without a bull horn and even then you had better get super close. You will not start on time. Not once. You'll be lucky if there isn't gum or drinks spilled on the floor making it sticky. There is no separation of eating/drinking...
Read moreI use to come here all the time as a kid and loved everything about it from the staff to the bowling teams who were frequently there laughing just a few lanes away but I could tell this wasn't the same place I once loved..within 10 sec of talking with the current staff I could tell this was not the same place that I had such fond memories of as a child..this place has become a shell of a once popular hangout its staff is unprofessional and extremely rude.I could tell all of this with just a 10sec phone conversation with one of their staff member's who was beyond unfriendly and rude to deal with not to mention the ghost town like atmosphere you get when first entering as if the previous patrons souls have been devoured by a demonic being and remains lingering in the shadows Watching ..this place needs new ownership and a serious reboot just to get it back to running...
Read moreBeing born & raised here in Ridgecrest I frequented Sierra Lanes a lot. Had many drinks while playing many games of Billards/Pool in the back of the bar. Sadly when I moved back home I found that Sierra lanes was no more because of the earthquake they had here a few years ago. So recently they remodeled Sierra lanes under a new owner. They did an exceptional wonderfully beautiful remodel on the place. Took out half the lanes & added a wonderful arcade with many of the latest video games. They also have two interactive games to use too. One of which is the squares on the floor that you have to navigate to win. They have another one but are still in the process of putting it together. Their hours are 2 pm to 10 pm during the week & more hours of operation on the weekend. Check it out if you’re looking for something to do. Very kool place even better...
