Well' What can I say; There is only one word to describe my stay at the, Quality Inn in Ridgecrest, California, 'SATISFACTION!" But, that does not explain the title of my review. So, here goes! Just like my title says. "MIRAGE INurDREAMS." What does that mean?" you would ask. Well it means that, If it wasn't for a job that my beautiful husband Johnny McGee, had to do in the city of, Ridgecrest, I would have never experienced the unique and the pleasantness of the people in this city call, Ridgecrest, California. I would like to thanks those three gentlemen at the front office for the, California welcome and my California Goodbye!
I hope that every passer-byer feel the same satisfaction as I did, when staying in the Quality Inn. The rooms were just as nice as a 5 star hotels. So, in the scale of 1-10 this place gets a 9 from my heart.
The rooms are clean, the bed was comfortable, but the billows were way to soft and small. Need a little bigger size fridge, with just a little bigger size freezer, that actually works. The toilet seat keeps moving every time you sit on it. So, if you just remember not to sit on it to long you're fine. HEHE HE! And you can actually hear people talking from rooms next doors. So, if you're into social conversations between neighbours then this is your cup of tea. Just jump right in while the tea is still warm. They probably don't mine anyway, since they're the ones talking so loud. HEHEHEHE HE!
But if you don't mind a little flaw then you're okay! This is just a little imperfection everybody can deal with. Because I can actually say with just those little imperfection, that I can experience through life it made my stay here at the "Quality Inn," much more fun and it's an image of my 'MIRAGE INurDREAMS!" I never thought anything about the desert except just that, "desert!" And my images of places in the deserts, well it was never a paradise, not a place to stop in and rest for a while, but how wrong of me to think before experiencing it. WOW!! The best experience I had in the desert is right here right now! Don't let the desert be a "MIRAGE INurDREAMS,"Experience it for yourself. "YES!" I would recommend this place to everyone I...
Read moreI was very disappointed in the quality of the hotel. The room was disgusting. The chairs seats were soiled, the floiot carpet and even the comforter with stains.Arriving, theire was a used wet soap placed back in wrapper by the sink to wash our hands, that is unsanitary ,and definitely unhygienic to use somrone elses used soap.Check in wasn’t very good ither the operator wasn’t very friendly,at one point I asked since one of my dogs was only 4 lbs if he could wave dog fee,he got aggitated, and abruptly said “i dont care what you call your dog a chihuahua, its still $29,i felt very uncomfortable,he then said i will charge you $25 for each pet,he must of realized he spoke to me wrong.Checking in was to long i had done it online to avoid lengthy wait and secure room,I paid with card online. When arriving it just seemed strange to have to give card again, and when I asked for receipt i was refused saying next morning at checkout I would get one.Again, when i stay at other hotels its effortless, leaving key in room and just getting back on road to continue trip.i stay at high end hotels and it always is s quick and easy and friendly experience.I told him that i didn’t feel that way on this check in.After seeing toom and used soap i took pictures and immediately went back to office to show the lady running front desk to get new soap and for her to see condition of room,I wanted to make sure we wouldn’t be blamed and charged for condition of room, she apologized and gave me a new soap.luckily she had a nicer apologetic personality.we did not take showers in morning ,i brought my own blanket to sleep on,I found room gross,as well as corridors, cement, grounds dirty.I thought we would be staying at a clean and comfortable hotel, this was not the case and extremely dissatisfying and disappointing.I would give a 0,but didn’t have the choice. At almost $190 for one night it should of been a high standard especially in a very small towm,as we were leaving we noticed the maid sweeping corridors,we believe they new their would be a complaint and to clean up in case-The corridors had trash, throw up,food...
Read moreDecided to change things up and stay here for a change. Firstly, they inexplicably are missing Comedy Central from their basic cable (coax) lineup. Okay…that’s fine. The real issue is when the manager knocked on my window while I was sitting in my car outside my room, at 20:00, in my business attire, after a 15-hour day, and demanded to know if I was a guest and what my room was—I was completely caught off guard and could only point to where my room was; she then demanded my last name, then wandered off. I recognize that due to the rental car I wasn’t aware I hadn’t pulled fully up in the space, but if—as she later argued—I was some kind of ne’er-do-well leeching her wifi, why in God’s name would I choose the spot closest to her office (and right below my room), and how many people nowadays have cells phone without cellular plans?
Bottom line, this has NEVER happened to me, in all my experiences with different classes of hotel/motel establishments, and this is NOT an acceptable way to deal with people stealing your Internets. And to be honest there was a split second when I thought I was about...
