We get there around 3-3:15 pm on a Sunday and we were the only customers so we figured it would be quick. No greeting when we walked in. Everyone kind of standing around. At least what I counted was 7 employees. We found our seats and noticed an employee cleaning in the other side of the store. Sweeping and moping. Ok so we sit on the far opposite side of where he is cleaning. We sit down waiting on menus which we got after anout 2 minutes. We order after waiting a while. Before we get our food the employee who was cleaning is pretty much cleaning over and around us. Almost hits my husband while moving tables to mop. Mop bucket sitting right by our table. I love the smell of cleaning products but not while I'm eating. No wet floor sign. My husband got his food first and i waited. Oh and there was a hair in my food but i was scared to report it. I work in a restaurant so I know how employees get sometime when you report directly to them. Everyone is stressed and I'm a libra that doesn't like confrontation. I was shocked and left unsatisfied because this location is usually awesome. We come to this one other than the one right down the street from us because it's usually great. Everyone has off days. Read moreMy family and I have come to this location in rincon for almost 5 straight years instead of the one in Springfield which is by our house. For one reason & that reason is or was the staff. Tonight we go in (12-18-2021) and sit in our normal spot far right booth. Only to be told that area is closed off. Ok no problem. But then our waitress decided to go on and on about the issues within the establishment. Ok thats not mine nor my family's business. And then what sent me over the top was when we received our food she looked at it and said wow it actually looks really good. And then she realized she shouldn't have said that and then decided to tell me the morning cooks don't care about presentation but it seems like the night cooks are better. I brushed it off and tried to ignore it. Until My Coffee cup stayed empty from the time we got our food to the time we got our bill. And her reasoning was and she said. Sorry I had to talk to our regulars. We sat there and watch her eat cookies and chit chat with them and push the cleaning off the tables off on the other server guy. While she chit chatted with the "regulars". Good way to make everyone feel welcomed I guess.

I placed my order online at 1AM, I received a call a half hour later from the store saying that they were "completely out" of food and my order would not be made. I told them that I had already paid online and that my money would need to be refunded since I wasn't getting any food. The gentleman on the phone immediately changed up the story and said that it would actually be an hour before it was ready, and that the store would call me when it was ready to pick up. I never got a call back and ended up falling asleep waiting for the order. When I woke up this morning, STILL no call yet. At this point it has been 8 HOURS, and still NO food and NO call. I called the location to get a refund and ended up having to go up to the location with my web confirmation. I had to stand in the lobby for 45 minutes while they were working on refunding my money, during which time they informed me that they never actually ran out of the food that I ordered and they had no clue why it wasn't made. This location is the most poorly run Huddle House I've ever been to, and after my experience today, I'm staying away from the company altogether.
