Update! 7/8/2018- I am updating my original 3 Star review below to 5! Today I revisited FWFC and am submitting a 5 star review. My experience was really refreshing and peaceful without any outside noise as previously reported. The owner has taken measures to successfully correct the noises on my first visit. The towels were clean and nice. The owner really goes above and beyond, and is a visionary for opening the first float tank in Ft Worth. I can't wait to go back again. This place is addictive, and it really does wonders for rejuvenating you physically, mentally, and emotionally. Believe the hype!
Good first experience! Very clean. The Salon is undergoing renovation and I occasionally heard a loud popping sound every 3 mins or so that was somewhat disruptive, but I will definitely go back. Neat and peaceful experience. Could have provided better quality towels. Mine had a hole in it and ragged edges, but not a really big deal. Just would make the experience even better. There was no “lounge” to have the coffee that was displayed/suggested in the room post float. A little disappointing as the coffee looked nice and would have been interested...
Read moreMy husband and I went to this company for a float session. It had been about a year since we’ve done one and not at this location. I was shown to my room, which was the float pod, and given instructions on how to use it. Nice, hot water when I showered before hand, turned off the lights and entered the pod. After the music stopped, I could hear what sounded like a bass guitar for a band. Not sure if this was due to another business playing music or a vehicle on the road next to the building, but it made it difficult to get into a relaxed state of mind. Then I started smelling mildew. After about 40 mins I finally gave up and got out. I turned the flashlight on my phone on and saw the entire seam of the pod had mildew in the caulking and the back of the head rest also had molding on it. I even took pictures. Went to shower to rinse off and not a single bit of hot water was there to be had. VERY disappointed with my visit. Only good thing was they gave us the couples price which saved me $50. Won’t be going back to this...
Read moreThe water was too warm so it became difficult to breathe due to the very high humidity. Twice I had to open the pod a quarter of the way to cool the inside down so I could breathe better and not be so warm. I tried a third time to prod it up slightly but that was unsuccessful. This was not relaxing nor was it a lack of stimulation as when the pod was partly opened the saltlamp (at it's lowest) was still a light. When I told Kevin of these issues and that he might want to reduce the temperature before the next floater, his response was "Sorry about that". I said nothing further, planning to contact the owner today. Now I find out he is the owner. There are other float companies in the area. I will try one of them to see what a...
