Little Giant Farmers Market — Local services in Riverdale

I went into the store today at 3:15pm for a quick stop by UPS and was greeted and helped as soon as turned the corner to UPS which I was very impressed with because there were 3 other customers who had clearly been helped and were waiting. After I finished dropping my packages off I headed over to the round customer service desk and notcied no one was there, I walked around the circle of the desk twice and stopped at the sign that said western union. A girl was nearby on the aisle directly behind the service desk and looked to be counting product on the shelf. After 2-3 min she came behind the counter of the service desk and walked directly behind it and didn't speak a word to me, I thought she might just be grabbing something and doesn't work the counter, so I waited, after 5 min she was still behind the wall of the desk so I walked around and asked her "do you do money orders?", she said "yes do you need a money order?" I said "yes, did you not see me standing over there." she said "no, why didn't you say something?" I said " Because you work here, not me, why did you walk past me?" she then said "I didn't see you, how much do you need for your money order?" I told her the amount and she walked away behind the other side of the wall to process the money order. After she gave me the money order I asked one of the other girls who is the manager, and they said right now the manager on duty is "BreShay" which is the girl who just helped me. I used my cash app card to buy groceries here 1/9/2025. My total came to $98.71 when I swiped my card it was denied. I knew it was an error because there was money on the card. The cashier told me to swipe my card again to by pass it as credit and it denied it again. When I swiped it for the third time and entered my pin, the money came off my cash app card but declined it still on the store end. The cashier told me the purchase never went through and I couldn't get my groceries. This was very frustrating because this is the day before our snow storm. So even though the money was taken off my cash app card, the cashier insisted it never was approved on their end. So I had to leave without my groceries and file a dispute through cash app. After two days of investigation, cash app denied my dispute saying the merchant fulfilled their obligations for the goods/services associated with this transaction. As a result, your dispute has been denied. So not only did I lose out of $98.71 I never got my groceries and little giant has my money still pending on their end but cash app said it was approved. So I really don't want to shop here ever again. I never had problems using my cards at a place where it says "any payment method is welcomed" then get denied and still nothing resolved. I think the cashier was doing fraudulent transactions at this store and it definitely needs to be looked into. Not a happy customer at all and I'm still without my groceries through this...

Not sure who or what made the changes to this store. But before when the subs were 7.99 the staff made them neatly, they were tasty, and they were worth the money. Now they’re 9.99. And not only were my sandwiches made incorrectly, the light skinned gentlemen making my sandwich did not make them neatly. They were sloppy with condiments, meat and vegetables everywhere. Cut sloppily into four pieces and then thrown in a sandwich bag. Like, I don’t even want to eat this. For the same price I could have gotten a foot long sub meal at subway for two, I spent on these horribly made sandwiches made by an employee who clearly hasn’t been trained to make a cheese sandwich, let alone a torpedo sub. LG if you’re going to raise the prices of your product, the quality needs to be the same as before. If not better. Won’t be coming back to this location for ANYTHING. Hopefully the GM can get this location and their woefully incompetent staff under control. Because this is ridiculous. For $20 I got a bag full of messy, horribly made food. Presentation is key, and this just ruined my appetite....
