Light of Joy — Attraction in Riverdale

What can I say I love this place and everyone in it. My family and I relocated from New Jersey some years ago and nothing really felt like home until I walked into Light Of Joy. God lead me here for healing , family , spiritual guidance and tools and knowledge and a host of extended loving family members. Our Pastor is Amazing and not on speaks to the very core of you but also touches it in a way that only God can Command. No one is left out. There are activities for men, women and children, single members , married couples , as well as teen events. This church speaks for our community by reaching back and proving aide to families in need as well as provide often reminders of how to love thy neighbor. You learn at this church. You are loved and not judged. They have men's meeting every second saturday of the month and women's meeting every third Saturday of the month. At these meeting they feeding you breakfast. Fellowship worship and praise, games. It's just a wonderful church. Their motto ( Reach the lost and TEACH the found) and that's exactly what they are doing. Sunday worship services (8am and another at 11am) Bibles study is every Wednesday at 6p.m. they feed you a little before bible study. They also have an Institute within the the church which you do receive a certificate of completion. Classes included; Intermediate American sign language, new member, Power of Victorious Living, Priesthood and the Tabernacle. Services can aslo be viewed on their Facebook page. I have been a member of Light Of Joy for approximately 4 Years. I am a member of the Joy girls which is the women’s auxiliary the golden Eagles, which is the senior citizen auxiliary and I go to intercessory prayer every Wednesday evening at 6 PM. This is the most Anointed church I’ve ever been to Pastor Salter is a true man of God that Studies his word and brings a precise on time message every time he speaks. The ministries That they have for the children, teens and young adult adults have blessed my daughter‘s life tremendously. This is a wonderful church to go for families. Don’t meet us there.
