IHOP — Restaurant in Georgia

I am making this review based mostly on ordering the IHOP app and picking up.

I have found this place to be the best in terms of ordering online and the food is always ready at the given time.

We have eaten here (dine in) before maybe two years ago and service was ok. For me recently ordering online has been extremely great.

I have tried several menu items and 98% of the time I have been satisfied. I have ordered mostly pancake meals and burger meals. We tried the biscuit meals and a few other things. Again my order is usually great.

Some not so positive things is sometimes I feel the portions atleast for sides is smaller than eating inside. But I only felt like that once out of the dozen of times I have ordered. My most recent order we ordered the family waffle meal and we was missing one waffle. Another time 2 weeks ago I wanted to try a breakfast meal but I felt they missed one item or atleast the online picture did not represent what I got. One particular item from memory I order the biscuits and gravy and I was not at all excited about the gravy.

To end it on a good note when I order it's usually either early morning or late evening and I personally feel the night staff are perfect. Even remembering my name. If I could make a separate review I would give them a top review period.

The morning crew is great as well but due to my most recent order I would give them a B-.

Overall compared to other restaurants you can't beat IHOP currently. Just maybe double check your order but 98% of the time it's usually right. And no matter the food quality is the best in...

For Father's Day, I experienced terrible customer service at Apple Bee's, so I went to IHOP, & the manager Marci was very respectful, & treated every customer nicely tonight. Even though it was closing time, this manager was extremely accommodating & diligent at her job to make sure customers were able to order & receive their order before 12am. I personally told her the terrible customer service that I endured at the other restaurant, & how she showed such a good attitude even though we were ordering around 11:35pm. There is a huge difference in how a manager display their attitude towards staff and customers around closing times. Ms. Marci went above and beyond by apologizing to my family for other restaurant's negligence & she gave me a 10% discount on my order tonight. She even held a conversation & listened about current events to pass the time of us waiting on our food to be cooked. The chef's, managers, & staff were all respectful. Nobody was rude to us at all, & the food is wonderfully prepared by people that also worked hard all day today. They even had customers picking up their order from online & they received their order on time before 12am. This is the IHOP in Riverdale, Ga. that had better managers, chef's, & staff than Apple Bee's tonight as of June 19-20, 2022 Father's...

IHOP off Hwy138 has been my go to spot for years. Anyone who knows me, knows I love pancakes and I love the way they do pancakes. I wanted to give them 5 stars across the board for service (always above and beyond), cleanliness (clean tables and surroundings) and food (normally exceptional). However; today the food was cold and unappealing. I notice lately, during certain times the service and food may not be as good as other times. Now with that being said, when I pointed out there was an issue with my food being cold, the waitress was very apologetic and corrected the problem right away. Normally, other restaurants would have not only corrected the problem right away (in which they did), they would have taken a percentage off the ticket and offered something for free. IHOP did neither. They did the bare minimum (refixed my order) Honestly, the food was very good. It just took 2x to get it right.
