Whiskey BB Que — Restaurant in Georgia

Visiting from NY, I was excited about trying out a local BBQ joint so we found Whiskey BBQ on google and decided to go there being it was 5 min away! On Sunday 6/12/22 around 9:40pm while walking up it seemed to be lively and it was indeed. Upon entering the establishment we weren’t greeted by the bartender, but by two customers sitting at the first bar. The bartender instead proceeded to look at her phone and ignore us instead of acknowledging us as new patrons. When the bartender finally decided to acknowledge our presence she began to scold me for having a bottle of water with me which I agreed to leave in the car as this was my first time there and was unaware we weren't able to bring in bottled water… we just wanted Anything at this point because we were hungry ….we walked in around 9:40 and was told there was no more food so We said okay and left. Upon leaving the establishment the same bartender decided to start making nasty faces behind our back As we walked out , we only caught her because my best friend just happened to turn around and see her.

It’s sad we never got to taste the food, but we can agree that the bartender was nasty and will never return here again. Would of been nice to support a black owned business, but our people should learn to be nicer to one another .. especially as...

Arrived at 430pm order 6 peice wing dinner( wanted wings cooked a little harder than normal.) With collards. Patiently waited over 40 minutes.. waitress finally came with my dinner. I checked..the wings were not cooked properly. And the muffins i had requested were missing. BT stated She told them and asked if I wanted to send them back. Which I did. Over 25 minutes later she returned. I peeked in the box .. no muffins. I ask where are the muffins. BT.. said she would get them.. after another ten minutes. No muffins.. mind you my good is getting colder. Which I explain. Still another five minutes for the muffins. Hungry and in pain a go home. Only a few minutes away. I get home.. the Collards and Mac n cheese are slam.. cold. They obviously let the food sit while they tried to correct the chicken. The wings were HORRIBLE. They had taken the wings out of the box and cooked them again. I know this because of the appearance, they were extra extra dry, tasteless and the extra grease form the second cooking was obvious. So I have had the pleasure of dining in this restaurant twice and the two times that I have came they never missed I've had the beef brisket and I've also had to rip dinner both were very tender I think that the ribs were more tender than the beef brisket but the beef brisket was very good the macaroni and cheese is very good the greens are very tender and they're seasoned perfectly they're not over season or under season the cornbread muffins are great and the Texas toast that they make is good I had the pleasure of getting my order taken by a older lady I called her auntie that has some very pretty eyes and short hair and I think she was just wonderful when I walked in she said I got you girl I got your food and I just love that for me because she was so warm and welcome to me and the environment the music was playing people were sitting at tables and the vibe was just very cool in there a nice place to have a drink and get a good meal after work if you're looking to kind of decompress before...
