Derby liquor — Local services in Riverside Township

She obviously hates her job/life, and she will let you know it. "This was not based off one encounter" It's based off many, many, times over years, and years of her being rude, and acting as if I was bothering her.. lol They have now lost over $400 a month in business. I advise going to a different liquor store "This is my first, and only bad review ever" Steve is cool btw. He's always been nice, professional,focused, respectful... I feel bad for him... "I wonder if he feels like he was walking on egg shells every time he's around her like I did pulling up to the drive-thru window with exact change as to not piss her off" I would get to the drive through, And Waited patiently. I wouldn't push the button immediately.. I would wait to see if anyone was in there before I pushed the button. I guarantee most people would not do what I did. Because they're not as respectful as I am.. So I would sit there and wait for for her... I would sit there and wait for her to finally come over and be rude to me... both of you seem to hate your business.. Why don't you...

Absolutely horrible experience at Derby Liquor Store. The owner is incredibly rude and disrespectful. I was charged twice for Twisted Teas because he claimed my Cash App card didn’t go through. When I showed him proof that the charge did go through, he refused to even look at it, wouldn’t review his transactions, and wouldn’t print me a receipt for my cash payment so I could dispute it.

To make things worse, my son went to grab something, and the owner tackled him, pulled his hair, and ripped his jacket. My son had to defend himself, and instead of the aggressive owner facing consequences, my son got arrested. We will absolutely be fighting these charges.

This man is out of control, and I would never step foot in this place again. Avoid...

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The owner(?) or Manager, an older gentleman, came out of the store approximately 2 seconds after I parked there to ask me if I was going to buy anything. After I said no ( there's no way I was going to spend any money there after his aggressive approach of my vehicle and demeanor), he TOLD me to leave immediately and told me to go park "Over there" and over there was a construction site on the road. I had multiple children in the car who had to watch a grown man have a temper tantrum about a parking spot I'd occupied for all of 60 seconds on a Monday afternoon at 4pm.
