The 206 — Restaurant in Roanoke

The only reason it got three stars instead of one was because the brewery redeemed the experience somewhat. We ordered food at The Foodery and waited 10-15 minutes for one cheesesteak with one order in front of us (which was chicken tenders and fries). The employees working there went between The Foodery and Kid Kakes (I think that’s what it was called). They were much more interested in it being social hour than working. While sitting and eating (the food was great), we watched numerous people come up to order and ultimately leave due to not being acknowledged. We also saw someone (who I’m certain was working at the brewery) come check on her order multiple times to the finally be told they lost it, it didn’t process, etc. It was not due to lack of staff- I counted 3 people there at any given time and just one girl cooking, one acting like it was social hour, and the guy kind of worked but was more interested in talking about customers after they walked away. Had the worst burger of my life here in the food court. Granted the place was busy and a lot of very tolerant people were saying well they are very overwhelmed so blah blah. Me being very hungry not so tolerant but held it In as long as I could! Waited over a hour for a burnt hockey puck of a burger! I watched burgers under full flame just roasting to a crisp and the dude cooking just walked by them left them in flames without a care in the world. Obviously he's not proficient in grilling burgers. Sorry to be so blunt but if your going to charge 14 bucks for a burger get someone who cares! Not going back for a burger at least. My hubby and I chose to eat at the Hot potato 🥔. I asked the employee what's their best. He recommended the brisket mac n cheese potato. Let me say this was one of the worst potatoes I have ever had!!!! Mac n cheese, no it was elbow noodles covered with some shredded cheese topped with some brisket, a minor amount of bbq sauce and chives. Friends of our s ate at the sandwich place where they ate a chicken salad and had fried mac n cheese bites (actually mac n cheese) delicious 😋, another friend got fish and chips and it looked really good. Another friend had burger with curly fries that too looked great! But our brisket mac n cheese potato was disgusting...
