We brought a PS5 in for repair it need the liquid metal replaced. We dropped it off on a Monday and were told it would be ready Wednesday. We called wednesday to check on the status and were informed that they hadn’t even looked at it. Once we finally got it home and tried to turn it on, it beeped twice and would not power on. We called back and were informed to bring it back in and they will look at it again. Then got a call that the liquid metal had dripped onto the mother board and we could either recycle it or pick it up. We asked why it was not disclosed to us to keep it horizontal when we picked it up even when Kirby saw us place it in the back pack vertically AND HANDED IT TO US VERTICALLY. and Alex (who we have never spoke to) got nervous and tried to make an excuse and then claimed that he spoke to us and informed us to keep it vertical. Read moreI had hands down the best experience yesterday. I broke my phone the night before and was prepared to pay alot of money out of pocket to get it fixed or get a new phone. Verizon checked to see if I had insurance - and thank goodness I did. They advised that we could file the claim through Asurion and then I could go to the store and potentially have a phone replacement by tomorrow. The gentleman at Verizon even mentioned that I may have to pay a deductible but ubreakifix (Asurion )would be able to tell me more. I walked in there at 130pm and spoke with Austin who was not only kind but also extremely knowledgeable and assured me he thought this was best case scenario and I would not have to pay anything. He was correct! The screen was just broke in the outside, no internal damage, and between him and the adjustor, Jarrod, they had my phone back to me by 330pm. Read moreI had a phone that worked all except the touch part of my screen. I was worried I'd have to factory reset because that's what Best Buy had said when I took it there. I found this place out of luck actually. I live in the NRV area so I originally got in touch with the christiansburg location, but they didn't have my screen in stock, so they called the Roanoke store and they held the screen I needed until today. I went and they reassured me there was no need to factory reset anything and told me it would be about 2 hours for the screen replacement. I went back to get my phone and they didn't even need to replace the screen at all, I just had a cable that had detached. They fixed it up for me and I was on my way.
