Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Roanoke

Usually have no problems with Chick-fil-a. Unfortunately this time, my experience wasn't great. I ordered using the curbside pickup option. Once at the restaurant, which only had one car in the drivethru and three also waiting to pickup, I alerted them through the app that I had arrived, however, it took about 17 minutes for my order to be brought out to me. I had ordered two combo meals, nothing special. I should have just gone through the drivethru, but was trying to make a quick pickup. Anyway, once my food was brought to me, something told me to check the bag, which I never do because Chick-fil-a always gets it right. But I look into the bag and notice that my nuggets weren't in the bag. So I call the number on the curbside pickup sign, because I can't go inside because of Covid. I informed them of the error and am told that someone would bring the nuggets right out. It took an additional 10 minutes for the nuggets to be brought out. 27 minutes after arriving, I have my food and am able to leave. This is the longest I've ever spent at a Chick-fil-a waiting for food. After driving off, I reach into the fry bag, because everyone loves fresh fries, and noticed that the fries were old, slightly burnt and barely warm. At this point, I was so irritated that I didn't want to go back and wait another 30 minutes, so I just continued to head home. Highly disappointed with the service on this visit and I have no intention on returning to this location....

Always good solid consistent chain-wide food. Even when this place is packed and people are lined up around the building and drive-thru, it's always steady flowing and you never wait for very long. **UNTIL the other night, that is. I waited in the drive-thru line for 10 minutes to get to the speaker (if you've been there you know there are only a few places you can get out of the line, and I didn't mind waiting a little bit because I was talking to my son on the phone), but figured it would pick up momentarily, and I'd put in THAT much time at that point! 😄 Unfortunately, I sat in the line ANOTHER 15 minutes before I got to the window (by the time you passed the speaker, it's too late to get out of line because you're locked in because of the curbs; smart planning on fast food chains' parts!). The WORST part was that all I had ordered was a large waffle fry! I was good and hopping mad by the time I got to the window, but when I pulled up, the poor girl in the window looked so distraught, and handed my bag of hot fries out the window with a sincere apology for the wait and a comment that they were free, I couldn't stay mad; they obviously had something going on out of the norm. I have to say, still a good experience, despite the momentary...

I am a traveling nurse and I have been to many chick fil a’s from state to state.. I have never ever been more disappointed with this location.. the first time I visited I asked for an extra dressing for my salad and get to the window and had to ask again because it was not in my bag and she replied “ ok but next time I’ll have to charge you” Huh???!!! I’ve never heard that before at any chick fil a also I came in contact with 3 employees during my time at drive through; the one who took my order, the one who asked me if I wanted a receipt and the one who gave me my order, I never once heard any of them say MY PLEASURE… that was so weird to me so I tried a different location 2 days later and it was just like what I was used to, very pleasurable and gave extra dressing…. Nevertheless, me being me and giving the benefit of the doubt , I decided to visit the other place again today since it’s closer to the area I’m living at the moment and guess what? The same thing!!!!!! Really??????? Plus I asked for grilled nuggets and when I got home they are fried😡. I cannot with them anymore ever again….Ugh!!!! Throw the whole chick fil a away at...
