Starbucks — Restaurant in Roanoke

The coffee was outstanding, the employees were kind and friendly, and all played their part in getting things accomplished. Everyone had a friendly smile and worked together as a team. They greeted me, and thanked me once I ordered and when I went to pick up my coffee. The staff seemed to really enjoy their job and co-workers. But I think what I love most about Starbucks is that they provide flexible schedules for their employees, fully covered insurance for all employees and the fact and let me be clear there aren't alot of jobs that do this anymore, nor would I have ever thought that a coffee shop would offer this, but Starbucks offers tuition reimbursement for their employees!!!! I was at Starbucks one day when I heard a couple people talking about the tuition reimbursement when I said do what? The employee looked at me smiled, then laughed and said yes, Starbucks CEO reimburses employees tuition if their grade point average is a C Average I believe overall . . . I was astonished, and I think it's absolutely great that they offer health insurance to their employees, but to find out they also do Tuition Reimbursement, I feel is Awesome. Anyways, if u want great, fast, amazing, kind, intellectual, warming, welcoming, thankful, and an overall outstanding environment to have coffee in, I would recommend Starbucks. I'd also like to say that sometimes some people you just can't please in the world, and that those people wouldn't be happy and would find something wrong just so they have something to complain about, even if someone put $1 Million dollars on their plate or if they were given a 2lb, un-cut diamond, they would be something wrong with it. Lol. Therefore, trust me, Starbucks has great coffee, great, fast service, and have a truly welcoming environment about them, that's worth coming back to everytime, and their prices are great as well, not to...

So I’m a newbie. Today was my first time. Honestly, I was just frustrated from the start. Coming into the parking lot, trying to park when a speeding car comes thru from the drive thru who turned out to be an employee coming to work as we entered, that soured my mood. Then after seeing 3 signs for the summer berry lemonade on the way in - that’s what I wanted. When my order was read back, she said strawberry açaí lemonade and I corrected her and said summer berry. She told me there were no boba, but she could put some fruit in it. Then asked if we wanted the other mango dragonfruit made with lemonade, I didn’t know what that meant because the menu didnt have options listed. My daughter said she wanted it plain (not lemonade). Strawberry Açaí lemonade was still made in place of the Summer Berry even after the correction and convo. Then the mango dragon fruit was still made with lemonade. I stated that I ordered the Summer Berry not the strawberries açaí, and I was asked were you told we were out of boba? At this point, I just felt defeated by the whole experience and just left. If it’s not available cool, but dont take the order for it then change it. Or just take the signs down from all...

It's frustrating that not only can we no longer purchase things online, you don't offer enough in stores, and then you charge extra for people who have allergies!? so my affordability for coffee has obviously gone down, and now that you're charging extra for people with allergies, I can't even afford one drink a week anymore! I love Starbucks. I've spent so much money on it just because this is outrageous. I can't do 7 something for my basic coffee that used to be under $5 2 months ago... Starbucks, I will be moving to a different company if you can't figure this out for everyone, please. And stop moving your employees around. Keep the ones here that are happy it's not cool! Some of us go in just to talk to those people and that's why we spend our money if you take that away why will we go back??? It's great coffee, but trust me, after spending over $7/8 to get one small drink for my daughter and I've been doing it for 15 years because it was a thing with my brother.. Who passed..
